Chapter 22

Hyun-jin's POV

Wow, that was really fucking hot. Like, really hot. Like, 'I'm turned on right now' hot.

I'm sitting on the couch, watching Lilly as she paces the floor, ranting and making hand gestures.

"I can't believe him! He had the nerve to come at you like that! Who the hell does he think he is? I've said it before, Jimin and I are NOT DATING. I get wanting people to get together, but damn!" She pounds her fist into her hand as she says the second part of the second to last sentence. Fuck, she's so hot when she's mad.

I gently grab her by the hips, pulling her in front of me, looking up into her eyes as she looks down into mine, her hands on my shoulders.

"Baby, calm down. It's ok." "No, it's not ok. He can't just go around being an asshole to people. And you were being nice! He's acting like I'm in a relationship. I am SINGLLLLLE."

"He'll get over it." "Oh no, he won't," She says, shaking her head. "He has his heart set on Jimin and I being together. I don't even know if Jimin likes me, cuz he hasn't said anything."

"Do you wanna listen to K-Pop and eat ice cream? That'll calm you down." She tries to not smile. "Yes, please." And we do just that.
