Chapter 61

Jimin's POV

   "Jimin....you're my boyfriend now."  Lilly says then giggles, gushing, a bright smile on her face.

Aaww.  She's such a smiley baby.  I love the fact that I can make her that way.

We're cuddled up on the couch, her head resting on my stomach.

I peck her on the forehead in response, my smile immediately following.

"Oh Jimin, I've been waiting so long for you to ask me, and now that you did, I'm on cloud 9."

She jumps up and hugs me.  We passionately peck each other's lips.

"I can't wait to tell the boys!  Wait till Taehyung hears this!  He'll be so excited!"  She says.

All this time I thought she'd want to be with Hyun-jin, and she's excited about being with me!

This is truly a dream come true.

"Lilly, you're so excited."  I smile.  "Of course I am.  I want to shout it from the rooftops.  Park Jimin is my boyfriend!"

"There's also something I want to give you."  "Oh my God, Jimin, really?"  "Yes, Baby, really."  I smile.

I pull out a tiny box.  I open it up, revealing a ring.

"Oh my God, Jimin....You didn't have to get me this."  "But I wanted to.  This, Lilly, is a promise ring.  Your promise ring,"

I get on bended knee, holding the ring out to her.  "Lilly, I promise that when you don't love yourself, I'll make you love yourself.  I promise that I will always treat you with respect, and always give you the affection you deserve.  I promise to always be here for you in every way possible.  I promise to be the person I need to be, not only for you, but for myself.  I promise to give you attention, to never ignore you.  Lilly, will you wear my promise ring?"

"Yes."  She says, a happy tear rolling down her cheek.  I put the ring on her finger and stand up, us hugging and kissing.
