Chapter 13

LillyRose's POV

  Our bodies fall back and I hover over him.  He pulls me down on top of him by my hips.  His hands go to my ass, squeezing it and making me moan into the kiss. 

When we pull away, he begins to speak.  "Well that was eventful."  He smiles.

I officially don't know what the fuck I'm doing.

"I'm sorry."  I nervously smile.  He chuckles.  "Don't apologize.  I don't regret it.  So, what was that about?"

I sit up, straddling him and looking him in the eyes, my hands on his chest, his hands on my hips.

"I know this is selfish, but I needed a distraction from Jimin."  "I get it.  You're confused."  "You could be like my confidant and my medicine!"  "So, like, your friend with benefits?"  "Yeah!"  "I'm down with that."  He smiles.

A few moments of silence pass.  "So do you wanna kiss again?"  Joonie says.  "Sure."  I lean back down, and just like that, we're instantly making out again.

"How are you so cool with this?"  I question Joonie.  We're laying on his bed side by side, looking at the ceiling.

"I'm glad to help you.  If I can be any help to you, and if this is how I can do it, then I will.  And as you'll come to learn, I'm a chill person, so this doesn't bother me.  How do you feel?"

"I don't even know,"  My pupils dart all over the place as I speak.  "Jimin and I just accidentally kissed today, then I purposely kissed you, and now we're friends with benefits.  How should I feel?"  I turn my head, looking at him.

He turns his head to look at me.  "Confused.  Something unexpected just happened to you, and you don't want it to ruin your friendship with him.  You don't know what you're doing.  It's ok to feel confused."  He smiles.

"You're so wise."  I smile.  I lean my lips closer to his, causing him to mirror my action, our lips connecting and moving in sync.

Jimin's POV

It's been a few weeks since the incident, and things between LillyRose and I have been awkward ever since.  I miss her.  I miss how it used to be.  Why did that stupid kiss have to happen?

"Taehyung, I don't know what to do."  "Did you like it?"  "Well, it wasn't, like, a real kiss, well our lips did attach, but it wasn't intentional."  "That doesn't mean you didn't like it."

"Well, I like the fact that my lips touched hers.  They tasted like strawberry."  I smile, reminiscing.

"You should talk to her about it.  Things are only gonna be awkward if you let them."  "I guess you're right, but what if she doesn't wanna be friends with me anymore?" 

"I doubt that will happen.  It's not like it was intentional.  It was an accident, and accidents happen."  "But will she see it that way?"  "You won't know unless you talk to her."  "Alright, I will.  Thanks, Taehyung."  I smile.  "No problem.  That's what friends are for."  He warmly smiles.

After leaving his house, I go to my own and sit on the edge of my bed.

I pull out my phone and text LillyRose.

Jiminssi: hey um can we talk tomorrow

LillyRose's POV

Joonie and I are sitting on the edge of his bed.  My phone buzzes, and I take it out of my pocket.

Jimin texted me.

Jiminssi: hey um can we talk tomorrow

"Jimin just texted me and asked if we can talk tomorrow.  See?"  I say and show him the text, him leaning his head over to look at the screen.

"Should I do it?"  I ask, looking him in the eyes.  "Might as well.  There's no point in avoiding him.  Plus, it would be good for you guys to clear the air."  "Joonie, you wise son of a bitch, you could be a counselor."  I say as I playfully shove him.  He smiles and giggles.  I reply to Jimin.

Lilly🌹: yeah sure

Jimin's POV

I smile as I read her response.

Lilly🌹: yeah sure

I was afraid she wasn't going to respond. 

This is good.  It's a step in the right direction.
