Chapter 101

LillyRose's POV

   Some time has passed ever since my mom demanded I come home from Jimin's house.

Prom is coming up soon, then after that is graduation.

Jimin came back to school.

The group is still divided, but I guess I'm used to it now.

Jimin and I are sitting in my room on my bed, both of us laying down and looking at the ceiling.

After Mrs. Park found out Jimin was still skipping school because of depression, she agreed to start letting him come over if he went back.

It's sorta therapeutic for him to hang out with me.

"So, are you going to prom?"  I question him.  "Ha, no."  I turn my head to look at him.  "Why not?"

"I don't see a point in going.  You going with Namjoon?"  "Yeah, that's the plan."  "Mm."

"I think you should go.  It'll be fun."  "Nah.  I think I'll pass."  "Well, I hope you change your mind.  Prom is our best high school experience."

"So, Babe, you said you wanted to talk about something.  What is it?"  "Lilly, I think we should break up."

"What? Why?"  Namjoon looks down and sighs before looking back at me again.  "The group's been divided since we got together.  This is the only way to fix it.  I know you've missed how we all used to be.  I don't want to let you go, but I'm afraid I have to."  He says with soft, sympathetic eyes, his eyes showing that he really doesn't want to do this.

"You're right.  It's better for the group if we break up."  "Thanks for understanding, Lilly.  You were so good to me.  I have genuine feelings for you.  You're an amazing girlfriend, and a spectacular friend."

"Thanks, Namjoon.  You're more than amazing.  We'll always be friends no matter what.  Thanks for being a dope person."  "You're welcome, Lilly.  One last kiss?"  "One last kiss."

He holds me as our lips interwine.  Our tongues play with each other until we pull away.

"We broke up, Tae.  You can stop being mad now."  I say.  "What happened was really messed up." 

"Tae, don't you miss how things used to be?  All nine of us, having a good time enjoying each other's company."

"Are you and Jimin even still friends?"  "Yeah, we are.  He comes over everyday.  He was with me today, in fact."

"Mm, whatever."

"Do you ever think you can forgive him?"  "No way."  Yoongi says, shaking his head.  "Please, Yoongles?  Please, for me?"

"Lilly, I love you, but no.  What he did was unacceptable.  Unforgivable."  I sigh.  "Ok."

.....

"Jimin."  "Yeah?"  "We broke up."  "Really?"  "Yeah.  We felt it was best, for the group."

"Did you love him?"  He says, intently looking at me.  "I had feelings for him, but I don't know if I loved him."

"Are you happy now that you're not together?"  "I don't really know what I feel about it.  It was the right thing to do, and I'm ok with that."

"Do you need a hug?"  "I wouldn't mind if you hugged me."  He hugs me tight.  It feels nice and warm.  His scent is intoxicating as my head is nestled on his chest.  I feel safe.
