Chapter 42

Hoseok's POV

   I've been thinking about Lilly's words ever since she said them.

"Pretty upsetting when it isn't you, isn't it?"

Is she right?  Was I being a hypocrite?

Does this all mean that I have feelings for her?  Does it mean I'm jealous?

I can't be, right?  I want her and Jimin together.  I've never really thought about her that way.  I don't think about anyone that way.  It just never crossed my mind.

But now that I think about it...

She's sweet.  She's smart.  She's sassy.  She's pretty.  She's thick.  She's a tomboy at times.  She's charming.  She's courageous.  She's polite.  She's straightforward.  She's...tempting.

Who wouldn't want to date her?  I'm pretty sure she has Hyun-jin and Jimin wrapped around her finger.  She's probably working her way up to Namjoon and Bang Chan.  She's probably creeping up on me.

I go to sleep, thinking about this whole situation, and what her words could mean.

LillyRose's POV

It's Saturday, and I'm spending the rest of the weekend at Min-seo's house.

I pack all my stuff and head over to Jimin's house.

After ringing the doorbell, the door opens, and I'm greeted with a smiling Mrs. Park.

"Hi, Lilly."  She says as we hug.  "Annyeonghaseyo."  I reply. 

We let go and she smiles at me.  "You know a Korean word?  I'm impressed."  "Eh, I know a few."  I smile.

"Are you hungry, Lilly?  We just ate, but I can cook you something."  "Ah, eomma,"  I gasp as I dramatically put my hand on my chest.  "Can I call you eomma?"  I smile.

"Of course you can,"  She smiles.  "Now come on in, girl.  What do you want for breakfast?"

She lets me in.  "Are pancakes, bacon, and eggs ok?"  I say.  "Of course.  Anything for Jimin's future jagi."

I don't really know how to respond to that.....

And not because I don't know what it means.  It's because I do.

I just politely smile and sit at her dining room table.

As she cooks the food, she makes conversation.

"So, Lilly, how do you like our family?"  "Eomma, you're like a second mom to me.  You're so sweet, caring, warm, and inviting.  Your daughter's dope, too."

"Dope?  I'm sorry, I'm still not familiar with all the words of the youth."  I chuckle.  "It's ok, eomma.  Dope means good or cool."

"Aahh, okay,"  She says as she nods her head.  "And what do you think about Jimin?"

"Jimin is really sweet.  He truly is a dope person.  He's always by my side.  He was there with me when that happened.  He's always stood up for me.  He's genuinely a sweetheart."

"He's handsome, too, isn't he?"  "Quite."  "You know what else he is?"  "What would that be, eomma?" 

"Shy.  My Jimin has always been a shy little thing when it comes to girls.  Aigoo, I'll tell ya, he would just freeze up around them.  He wouldn't even be able to speak sometimes, and when he did, start stuttering."

"Aaww."  "Sometimes, in my head, I'm like, "Babo!", but then other times, I get sad.  I just want my son to be happy, and I feel like that won't happen if he doesn't break out of his shell."

She puts the food on a plate and puts the plate in front of me.  She retrieves some syrup and puts it on the table next to my plate.

"Thank you, eomma, for breakfast."  "No problem, Lilly."  She smiles.

I douse my pancakes in syrup and start eating.

"Eventually, Jimin will break out of his shell."  I reply to her.  "I sure hope so.  Well, enjoy your food."  She sweetly smiles then leaves.

"Hey, girl!"  "Hey, Lilly!"  Min-seo and I squeal at each other before hugging, running in place.

We pull away and I put my bag down somewhere in her room.

"Ok, Min-seo, let me go brush my teeth again, then I'll be back."  "Ok."  She smiles.

I brush my teeth then come back, putting my toothbrush and toothpaste back in my bag.

"Ok, so what do you wanna do first?"  Min-seo says.  She has different card games and board games laid out.

"Ooo, let's play Uno, but a dare version."  I say, a mischievous grin on my face.  "What do you mean?"  "Each round we lose, we have to do the dare the other person comes up with."  "Ok."  She smiles.

.....

Ok, so far, Min-seo has dared me to deepthroat a hot dog wiener, knock on Jimin's door and run away, knock on it again, pose, and sexily say, "Pizza delivery", do the Chubby Bunny challenge, and do a K-Pop choreo in heels, and I have dared her to uncomfortably hug Jimin, refusing to let go, act out a scene from "50 Shades of Black", act like a dog and get Jimin to pet her, get a hot dog wiener and pretend it's a dick, waving it around, and poke Jimin in his sides until he loses his breath (Jimin's ticklish).

We used Jimin a lot for this.  I'm sorry, Jimin😂.  He probably thinks we're weirdos.

I lose the next round.  "Ok, what's my dare?"  She stands up.  "I dare you to kiss me."

I look up at her.  I stand up, too.  Looking into her eyes, I slowly lean in until our lips touch.  As the kiss happens, our eyes close.  I use little tongue.

When I pull away, I stare at her face.  Her lips are parted, and she's staring at me.

I just had my first kiss with a girl.
