Chapter 108

LillyRose's POV

   It's been four years ever since we graduated, and now it's my wedding day.

I take a deep breath.  "Honey, you look great."  My mom says, her hands on my cheeks.  "Thanks, Ma."

"What's wrong?  Are you having second thoughts?"  "No, no.  I could never.  I just can't believe it's actually happening.  It's so surreal, y'know?"

"Ah, I know exactly how you feel.  When I married your dad, I couldn't believe it was happening.  I had jitters and everything.  I never had cold feet, though, because I reminded myself that I was marrying the person that I was in love with, and now it's your turn."

I smile at her.  "You're the best, Ma."  "I know,"  She smiles.  "Now it's your time to shine."

One of Jimin's little cousins is the flower girl.  She looks so adorable as she throws down the petals, making her way down the aisle.

When she's finished, my dad and I start walking down the aisle, bright smiles on our faces.  Dad looks down at me and whispers to me.  "You look great, Lilly Dilly, and you've done well.  I'm proud of you."

I smile up at him.  "Thank you, Daddy."  "You're welcome, Lilly Dilly."  We look back, and that's when I see tears streaming down Jimin's face.  He covers his mouth and nose with his hand.

Jimin's POV

My wife-to-be looks so gorgeous walking down the aisle.  I just- I just couldn't hold back the tears anymore.

After years of being with Lilly, I'm finally getting to marry the love of my life.

Everything we've ever done and ever been through replays in my head, and it makes this moment even more special and unreal.

I can't believe we made it to marriage.

LillyRose's POV

I stand in front of Jimin now, holding a bouquet of white roses.  I give the bouquet to Min-seo, my maid of honor.  Jimin and I hold each other's hands.  The officiant begins to speak.  "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to bind the love that is Jimin's and LillyRose's.  Jimin and LillyRose have been in love with each other ever since their senior year of high school.  They've been through ups and downs, but through it all, their love has prospered and is being celebrated today."

As I continue to look at Jimin, tears roll down my cheeks.  I wipe them away, trying not to mess up my makeup.

After the readings, the officiant addresses us.  I start with my vows.  "Jimin, I have loved you for so long.  I knew since the first time we got detention together that we had chemistry, and I'm happy we made an explosion of love.  We've been through so much together,"  I let the tears fall down my face.  "You weren't my first love, but you were better than him.  You were my first time, the first guy that I felt genuinely loves me, the first guy that I've ever seen a future with.  You make me better.  You're my better half.  Our love is electric, and it shocks the world.  I treasure everything you give me.  I still wear your promise ring,"  I smile then sniffle.  "I'm wearing it right now,"  Jimin's crying, too.  "I vow to love you as long as we live.  I promise to stand by you when we go through obstacles in life.  I promise to make you as happy as you make me.  You are my world, Jimin, and you always have been.  I'm so glad my dad approved of you.  I love you.  I can't wait to have little Blorean babies with you."  I smile.  Jimin smiles as well, the audience laughing.

"LillyRose,"  Jimin's crying is a bit heavier now.  He wipes his tears away before taking my hands again.  "I've wanted you for so long.  I used to be this super shy boy that didn't have a clue in the world how to talk to girls.  I knew that it hurt my eomma to see me like that.  She feared that I'd never be happy and find love, but then you came along and changed all of that.  You were my first "I love you", my first time, the first girl that's ever brought me out of my shell.  I don't know what I would do without you.  I can't imagine a life without you.  That would suck.  I love you.  I'm honored to have your Blorean babies."  Jimin smiles, making me smile and making the crowd laugh.

"The rings."  The officiant says.  The ring bearer presents the rings.  "With this ring, I wed LillyRose Analise Ammerie Williams."  Jimin says then puts the wedding band on my finger.

"With this ring, I wed Park Jimin."  I put the ring on his finger.  "I now pronounce you husband and wife.  You m-"  Jimin dips me and kisses me passionately, cutting off the officiant, making everyone clap and cheer.  "Well then."  The officiant says.

He brings me back up and we smile at each other and hold each other so tight.  "The couple will now partake in the unity ceremony."

Jimin and I mix sand in a glass, my color a bright pink and his hot pink.  "Family, friends, now that this happy couple has spoken their true feelings, spoken their love and sealed it with a kiss, we conclude the wedding ceremony.  Now it is time for the recessional."

We all exit in the order we're supposed to go in.

Everyone is now enjoying the reception.  Jimin and I cut the cake.  We feed each other cake before Jungkook clears his throat, onstage.

Jimin and I go to the dance floor, the center of attention as the music begins to play, slow dancing.

Jungkook starts singing "Butterfly" by THE BOYZ.  "Butterflyyyyyyy.  Butterflyyyyyyyyyyyy.  Butterflyyyyyyy.  Butterflyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.  Hey, girl.  Wanna talk...."

He continues to sing in Korean.  He sings the chorus.  He sings the part after the chorus.  He sings the part leading up to the chorus.

He sings the chorus, sounding amazing.  His voice is so beautiful.  "Would you be my, be, would you be my butterfly, butterfly?  Would you be my, be, would you be my butterfly, butterfly?  Would you be my, be, would you be my butterfly, butterfly?  Would be my, be, be my butterfly, be my butterfly?"  He sings as the background singers do their vocals.

He continues to sing the lyrics to the song.  "You're the only one.  Wanna give you my love."  He sings the Korean lyrics.  "There's no way out, out...."  He sings more Korean lyrics.

"Everything's gonna be alright cuz girl you give me butterfly....."  He sings the following Korean lyrics before hitting the high note as the background singers sing the chorus, his eyes squeezing shut as he passionately sings.

He sings the background vocals.  He sings the "Would you be my....." part as the background singers split into different lyrics.  The background singers stop at a certain point.

"Be my butterfly?  Be my butterfly?"  He sings, finishing the song.  Jimin and I stop dancing and clap and cheer along with the crowd.

Jungkook takes a bow, along with the background singers.  I knew I was right to have Jungkook sing at the wedding.

They get off the stage.  Jungkook comes over to us.  "Jungkook, that was amazing!"  I say and hug him.  "You did great!"  Jimin says and hugs him as well.  "Thanks so much, and thank you so much for this opportunity."  He smiles.

"No prob, Kookie."  Jimin says and pats him on the back.  My dad comes over.  "Time for me to get my groove on with my baby girl." 

We make our way to the dance floor for the father-daughter dance.  The DJ plays an old school song and we break it down.

After the dance, the boys and Min-seo come over.  "Congratulations, guys!  You guys are the definition of high school sweethearts!"  Min-seo says.

"Aaaw, thank you."  I say, smiling at her before I peck Jimin's lips.  "And thank you for making me maid of honor.  I felt...honored."  She says then smiles at her corny joke.  The rest of us chuckle.

"Aaahh, no prob, sister-in-law,"  I say.  My eyes go big with realization.  "Hyungnim!  You're my hyungnim!"  Her eyes go big with realization, too.  "Oh shit, I am!"  We jump up and down, hugging and squealing.

"Thanks for making me best man."  Tae says to Jimin with a smile.  "Ahh, it was nothing.  You've always had my back.  You were the one I was closest to.  You would've felt snubbed, it would've been a crime to not make you best man.  Come here, best man."

Jimin and Tae hug each other.  "Thanks for letting all of us be your groomsmen."  Namjoon says.  Jimin smiles.  "It was no problem.  You guys are my best friends."  The DJ keeps in comin' with those tracks, and everyone starts dancing.

We did it.  We got married.
