Today is the day I've been waiting for. It's prom day. I'm literally so excited, I'm gonna burst!
My mom is also equally as excited as I am. She said, "Ooooo, Lilly, I'm gonna have you all dolled up!" Of course I'm gonna let her doll me up. As good as my mom always looks, why wouldn't I?
I take a shower, put on some lotion, spray on some perfume, and put on underwear.
I go to my room and throw on my breathtakingly amazing dress. I'm destined to be the star of the show.
Soon after I put on my shoes, my mom knocks on the door. "Lilly, are you dressed?" "Yes ma'am. Come on in."
When she sees me, her mouth makes an 'O' shape before she speaks. "Ooooh, Lilly, you look so GORGEOUS in your dress."
"Thanks, Ma." I say as I smile at her. "Time to work my magic." She eagerly walks over and takes my hand before leading me to one of the bathrooms.
I sit down and she starts curling my hair. At least an hour and a half later, she applies some lipgloss to my lips.
"There. All done." She says, brightly smiling. I stand up in front of the mirror and examine myself.
I brightly smile, overly satisfied with the results. She appears in the reflection. "You look absolutely stunning." She says, moving my black hair back and fixing the curls with her fingers.
