Chapter 59

LillyRose's POV

   Ok, so, it turns out the boys are extremely talented.  Hoseok can sing, rap, and dance.  Jungkook can sing, rap, and dance.  Jimin can sing and dance.  Jin can sing and dance.  Namjoon can rap and dance.  Yoongi can rap and dance.  Taehyung can sing and dance.  Hyun-jin can rap and dance, but he says talent shows aren't his thing, so he's sitting this one out.

The boys are going to work on a song for the talent show together.

Jimin and I are sitting in his room now, the door locked so people have to knock.

I have to tell somebody about my encounter with Aimee.  I'm not gonna tell Jungkook about it because she's his first girlfriend, and I don't wanna ruin it for him.

"Ok, so Jimin, you know Jungkook's girlfriend, right?"  "Yeah...uh, Ambry, right?"

I chuckle at him.  "It's Aimee."  "Oh.  It is?  I knew it was something close to that."  He shrugs it off.

"Anywhore, when we went to talk in the hall, she accused me of liking Jungkook and told me to stay away from him."

Jimin bursts out laughing.  "Is she dumb?  You don't see Jungkook that way.  You're just friends."

"That's exactly what I tried to tell her stupid ass, but she wouldn't listen."  "What's her problem?"

"She's probably just mad because she knows that if I wanted Jungkook, I could have him.  She should also know that I don't want him.  I have eyes for you."

Jimin smiles and kisses me.  "Maybe she thinks you like him because of the way you were questioning her."

"Well of course I'm gonna question her.  She's some random chick around one of my babies.  I am Mama Rose, and you guys are my babies.  I'm gonna make sure no girl ever hurts you guys."

"Aw, thanks for being protective over us."  "Don't mention it.  But get this.  She had the nerve to say that she's here to tell me I can't have him.  Like, excuse me, I could steal your man real quick if I really wanted to."

"Realistically speaking, that's probably true.  I mean, she's decent-looking, but you are waaay better looking than her, and you give off a better vibe than she does."

"Exactly.  She's basic-looking, that's what she is.  I told her to her face that she's Jungkook's basic bitch."

"True, and she didn't even know what COD was."  "Right, like, oh my God, who doesn't know what COD is?  All I know is, I was here first, and I'm here to stay.  I was here since day 1, and no random bitch is about to run me away."

"Should I say something to him?"  "No.  I don't want something like that to ruin it for him, you know?  It's his first relationship.  I'm a big girl, I can handle it.  I'm just venting.  Definitely don't tell Tae, though, because he'd immediately go to Jungkook about it."

"Ok, I won't tell them."  "I obviously don't like her, but I feel like there's more to her story."  "What do you mean?"

"Like, there's something in my gut telling me that there's more behind that breakup than she's letting on."

"You think so?"  "Yeeaahh, I get this really bad vibe from her, and not because of her little confrontation.  It's like from the moment we met her, I could sense something off about her.  I just don't know what....  I'm gonna investigate."

"In the meantime, my lips could investigate yours."  He grins.  "Get to sleuthing."  I smile.

He drags me forward by my legs, pulling me closer and making me squeal, before kissing me.

Jungkook's POV

"Baby, something's bothering me."  Aimee says, her finger lingering up and down my chest.

We're sitting in the living room of my mom's house on the couch.

I turn off the TV and look at her.

"What's wrong?"  "Nothing really, it's just that...it bothers me that LillyRose is so...concerned with you."

"Baby, she's my friend,"  I chuckle.  "She likes Jimin, anyway, so you have nothing to worry about."

I rub my hand up and down her arm as I hold her close to me.

"Yeah, she might've said that, but her actions say otherwise.  I'm a girl.  I think I'd know these things.  You're really amazing, so why wouldn't she want you for herself?  I mean, think about it.  She was asking me questions like she wanted her chance in line, like she was waiting to take my turn,"

There's no way Lilly could have feelings for me...right?  I mean, she likes Jimin.  I saw it with my own two eyes.  They were kissing.  She was all over him.

Could there ever be a possibility of her secretly having feelings for me as well?

"You don't need friends like that around.  You need friends that are going to want you to be happy, not take your happiness away."
