"Hey, cutie." Shawn said as I hopped in the passenger's seat.
I smiled instantly, "Hi, Shawn." I smiled back, "Where are we going?"
"Whoa, don't act too excited," he winked.
I rolled my eyes laughing, "I am excited, shush."
He pulled out of the driveway, driving up the street.
"I'm taking you to my favourite place,"
I leant back in my chair, starring at Shawn with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh yeah?" I grinned, "Where would that be?"
He chuckled, "We're almost there just wait."
I nodded, trying not to bug him further though I wish we could teleport there in an instant, I want to know where he's taking me.
We weren't driving long, we continued to drive through familiar streets, nowhere far away when we pulled up by the neighbourhood park, it was less then a five minute drive from my house.
I looked at him raising an eyebrow once again, "The park?"
He nodded, the inner child coming out in him as his deep brown eyes lit up in excitement.
"C'mon," he urged.
I hopped out the car as did he. I stood on the sidewalk as he ran around to the back of his rusty white Ute, pulling a black leather guitar case out of it, my eyes widening instantly.
I grinned ear to ear, "You play music here?" I asked.
He nodded, walking over to me, the guitar case being safely between his lower arm and forearm, wedging it in place, his other hand being used to hold my wrist, pulling me over to the park.
