Kate's POV
We were at Uno's and I sat down next to Connor, my parents in front of us.
We ordered our food and we waited.
"So how's LA?" My dad asked me.
"It's GREAT, I'm having so much fun and-" I started to say.
"Fun? You're supposed to be there for work!" He said.
"Hun.... Calm down... You didn't let her finish." My mom said. "Kate, go ahead, finish what you were saying."
"It's fun, I'm part of the YouTuber business, every-time I get an ad on one of my videos... Which is 1 to 4 times per person, per video. I get 15 cents fo each ad... So at the end of the month... I get a lot of money... Because of all my fans. And my friends help me by doing collabs, and giving me shoutouts." I explained. "Same with Connor here, who has over 3MILLION fans!" I continued.
"It's no biggie." Connor said.
"Hun, that's a hugeie!!" My mom said.
"Well I give my parents some of the money, so I help them, and I get some too." Connor explained.
"Dad...I need to tell you something..." I started to say.
Connor put his hand on my leg.
"Yea sweetie?? Something going on??" My dad said.
"Connor and I aren't just friends... We are... More than that.."
"Best friends??"
"No.. More..."
My dad's face showed that he was confused.
"They're dating hun." My mom said, saving me.
"Connor... You are dating my daughter??" My dad asked.
"Yes sir." Connor said.
"Congrats! I hope you two are happy." My dad said.
Connor and I were relived.
"Thanks dad." I said.
"Thanks mr. V" Connor said.
"Please, call me John." My dad said.
"Ok, John." Connor said.
The food came. And we ate. After the appetizers and entrées Connor and I shared a dessert.
After Uno's we went home.
