Euphoria || Luke Hemmings [on hold]

Chapter 13

Finally. Today was the last day I'd have to see Luke's stupid face ever again, but who was I kidding his face was undeniably gorgeous with his perfect nose and bright blue eyes and no. I had to stop thinking about him like that. He hurt me. It's only been like 3 or 4 days but like I fell for him. Why couldn't I have fallen for Ashton or Michael. Or for christ sakes even Calum. Calum was techically the first one I sort of had a conversation with. He was the one who comforted me. He was there for me. Why couldn't I have just fallen for him. Although, those words he said back in the dressing room stuck with me.

"I'd listen to you." Those simple words. I wanted to trust Calum, but honestly I couldn't. My walls have been built up too high anyway. Well this sucked.

With all this shit going on, Jill keeps telling me she has to talk to me yet something always gets in the way. I've always been sort of distant from Callie. We usually stick with each other until the show actually starts but recently I haven't seen her much. We're either both doing something, she's on the phone with Brandon, or we just don't stop to talk to each other anymore. I also used to see her at dinner all the time, but lately she hasn't been coming. She was the closest I've had to a friend and it's just been really awkward. My life actually sucks ass.

I picked up an apple as I entered the wings of the stage. I wasn't assigned anything really so I was just walking around trying to avoid people. In the corner I saw Callie and started making my way over to her.

"Hey." I said suddenly taking her out of whatever thought she was in.

"Uh...hey." She stuttered out.

This was weird. Our conversations were never this awkward. When I first met Callie we instantly clicked, probably being the only two girls working here.

It was just awkward now. She wouldn't look me in the eye either?

"Callie is there something wrong?" I asked.

Suddenly I got tapped on the shoulder, I turned around to see Fred.

"Jill wants to see you." He turned his head to direct me to where she was.

"Um ok be there in like a second," I turned back to Callie but she was gone.

That was really weird. As I went to go talk to Jill I ran into another person.

"Oh my god I'm so sorr-" was all I got out before I realized the person I walked into.

I looked up to see Luke looking extremely good I might add.

"Oh," was all escaped Luke's mouth when he saw me. He then soon pushed past me and walked while looking down at his phone.

Ouch. That hurt a little bit. I didn't even get like a oh sorry.

I was going to make my way over to Jill when she apperared in front of me.

I was about to ask her a question when the words that came out of her mouth hit me like a brick.

"Mavery, you're fired."
