Chapter 9: Unfinished Business

Saturday Night

Scott POV

"C'mon y'all." I yelled upstairs.

Everybody came downstairs with their bags. We went outside and put the bags in the trunk. Reigna and Jayden were already in the car so we pulled off.

"Baby can you take me to Mia's house?" she asked me.

"Yea, when you coming home or you going to yo house?" I asked her.

"I need to go home, I have school in the morning." she said.

Unlike these other hoes I mess with, Reigna actually wanna do something in life.

"Huhhhhhh." I said sighing loud.

"No sirre you kept me up all night the last time and I was so sleepy." she said.

I smacked my lips and pulled up to the house. She kissed me and closed the door.

"The kids sleep." she said pointing to the back.

I shook my head and she went into the house. I pulled off and headed towards Sydney's house. I pulled up and got out. I knocked on the door and she didn't answer. Her car was here so I know she was. After 5 minutes she answered looking worn out.

"Hey." she said out of breath.

I started laughing.

"What's funny?" she asked me.

"Nothing." I said.

"What you doing here?" she asked me.

"Um it's your week remember?" I said.

She said damn under her breath and I started chuckling.

"I'll take the kids back to my house so you can finish yo business." I said.

"No I'm good, they can come in." she said.

We went to the car and woke up the kids.

"Hi mommy." Ciarian said sounding sleep.

We got everybody up to their beds and then we went downstairs.

"So when I get to meet this lucky person?" I asked.

"Your not going to meet this one." she said playing with her fingers.

When Syd did that she either was lying or nervous.

"What you nervous about?" I asked her.

"I'm not nervous." she said.

"Syd I've known you since highschool, I know when your nervous." I said.

"Don't be worrying about me, don't you have a girlfriend?" she said.

"How you know?" I asked.

"Chicago not that big Scott, just know that I know and I proud of you for moving on." she said.

"Well I really haven't moved on." I said.

She looked at me.

"Just make sure you don't cheat on her." she said.

I bit my lip and nodded my head.

"Well I'm about to go." I said standing up.

She stood up and walked to the door. She opened it and I walked out it.

"Alright see you later." I said.

She hugged me unexpectedly and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Lemme find out." I said smiling.

"Shut up fool." she said closing the door.

I don't know what's going on with that girl and he bipolar ass emotions.

Syd POV

It felt so good hugging him. I know it's only been a week but it feels like forever. I'm used to cuddling with him 24/7. Now I have to see him walk off to another girl. Yea he cheated on me but he's that one person I can't walk away from. He can commit a murder and I'll still love him. I told Brandon about the cheating and he told me to cut Scott off. But to really think about it, he probably just said that because he doesn't like him. But then when he said he really haven't gotten over me that just topped it off. I really want to get back with Scott but how would I look if I went with somebody that cheated on me? A fool right? I cleared my mind of all that mess and went upstairs. I walked in my room and sat next to Zay.

"Y'all was having a conference down there?" he asked me.

"No we was just talking about the kids." I said.

"You wanna get in the shower?" he said biting his lip.

"You so freaky bruh." I said getting up.

I went to the bathroom and turned on the water. I grabbed a towel and got in. About 3 minutes later he came in. He got in we started kissing.

"So how was the dick?" he asked me smiling.

"It was good or whatever." I said lying.

It was actually spectacular.

"Lying ass." he said.

"What time Steph get off?" I asked him.

"I'll be gone before she do." he said.

"Zay I don't think this is a good idea." I said.

"We're not gonna get caught." he said.

"I'm not worried about that, Steph is my sister and this is wrong." I said.

"Well what we gone do about it?" he asked me.

I shrugged my shoulders and continued to wash up.

"You know you don't wanna leave this." he said.

I started laughing then got out. I wrapped my towel around me and went to the room. I put on my pajamas and climbed into bed. I was on Instagram when he came out. He put his clothes on and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Where you about to go?" I asked him.

"Home, Steph suppose to be coming over." he said.

"Are y'all even together?" I asked.

"Naw, Imma be there for the kids tho." he said getting up.

He kissed me on the cheek and left. I was dosing off when Jayden started crying. I got up and went to his room. When he saw me he started smiling.

"Hi my Jayden." I said picking him up.

I took him to my room and layed down. He fell right asleep and so did I.
