It had been three days since Caroline, Bonnie, and Stefan got sent into the past. They thought they'd hate it there with all the manual labour they had to do, but oddly enough they didn't. They hadn't thought about home for a second since they got there. Caroline's great social skills were wonderful, and they had managed to make friends in the short time they'd been there. The Mikaelson's where actually an amazing bunch, they were nothing like they were in the future. Caroline suggested that being alive for a thousand years and experiencing having enemies trying to kill you at every turn, death etc can change people tremendously.

They eventually realized that they'd need some money to buy things from the market, so Stefan had decided to make weapons, swords, daggers, bow and arrows etc. He also had the advantage that he was from the future, so he knew what not to do. Word quickly spread about Stefan's talents, and the dollars started coming in.

Caroline and Bonnie had woken up early to begin their day. They'd made themselves some breakfast then they walked to the lake and fetched some water to do the washing.

"If my mother saw me doing laundry with my own two hands right now she'd send me to the nearest hospital." Caroline joked with Bonnie as she put up some clothes to dry. "I thought life in the 10th century would be little harder, but I'm loving it. I mean its tough cause we have to put in extra muscle, but I have never felt more relaxed than I have in these past three days."

"I totally agree." Bonnie smiled, but then she frowned. "Care what if we are stuck here forever?"

Caroline stopped and set on a rock close by. "Honestly I wouldn't mind. Here no one calls me a dumb ditzy blonde and I have no one to compete with. I don't have to push for attention. I'm happy here."

"Honestly, me too. I have nothing back home except for you guys." Bonnie said sadly. "Do you think we'll have to get married?"

"Did I hear someone say marry?" Rebekah squealed, happily skipping towards them.

It was so odd, the Rebekah in their time was a selfish shallow bitch, but the Rebekah in this time was like a little butterfly ready to spread its wings. They blamed it on a thousand years of betrayal and heartache. They felt more connected than they ever did with Elena. Rebekah was so innocent that they couldn't help but love her already.

"Good morning girls." Rebekah smiled. "So why are we discussing marriage? You girls aren't being courted by anyone in the New World are you?"

Caroline's eyes widened. "I was, but it didn't work out, same with Bonnie. Besides we are too young for marriage." She new enough that in the 10th century if a man asked to court you, it was basically a marriage proposal.

Rebekah laughed. "Caroline you are so funny. You have bled already and your hips are wide enough to bare children, you are not young, besides you said you are 18 you should have at list two children by now." Rebekah said. "I'm hoping my brother's ask for your hands. Caroline you'd be perfect for Nick and Bonnie you'd be perfect for Kol"

The thought of having children really appealed to Caroline. Since she'd been turned into a vampire, she had abandoned all her dreams of having a little boy and a little girl with a loving husband. Maybe this was her second chance. "Do you really think he'll want to court me? I heard that he really loves Tatia."

Rebekah nodded. "Why wouldn't he, you are beautiful and kind, and you have no want for Elijah." Rebekah said honestly. "I feel like he might ask you at the year festivities. Kol even told me he was going to ask you Bonnie, but I wasn't supposed to tell."

Bonnie splattered. "That is ridiculous, Kol and I are just friends."

"Then you are blind." Rebekah stated. "Every time Kol is around you he's always looking for was to impress you. I also know that he told you that he is showing signs of being a warlock, and he hasn't even told mother."
