Chapter 30

The party was now in full swing, everyone was having a good time, even the vampires that had ditched Marcel for a new leader. Well everyone was having fun until there was a loud bang and Marcel flashed towards Klaus looking like a raging maniac with none other than Damon and Elena at his side.

"What an amazing party Klaus, my invitation must've gotten lost in the mail," Marcel growled.

Klaus set his glass down and faced him, the rest of the family gathering behind him. "I hate to break it to you old friend, but here's the thing, I wasn't in charge of invitations. I was in charge of the money, you'll have to question my sister about your invite, although no one really wants you here so if I were you, I would take whatever dignity I have left and I would go find the rest somewhere else."

"Damon, Elena?" Caroline and Stefan said at the same time.

"Oh wow," Caroline smiled at the irony of the situation. "This is just petty, if they are the best you could find to help you out, you're as good as dead."

"Marcel, just bow out before this gets messy like every game of thrones does," Stefan advised. 

Marcel growled, he was about to flash towards Stefan, but Rebekah had him on the floor before he could do anything. "I wouldn't if I were you." Rebekah's vampire features coming into play. "I have lost enough man in my life, but this one I intend to keep."

"Always and forever, right?" Marcel scoffed.

"Glad you're keeping up old friend," Klaus smirked. "So I guess you decided to dig down the bottle of the barrel for help, tsk, tsk, tsk, very petty as my fiance stated."

"This isn't over," Marcel growled. "This is my city, my town, I am the King!" 

"Geez, could you not, my baby is going crazy with your whining," Bonnie whined cozying up to Kol causing Elena and Damon to gasp.

"Greetings from the land of the dead Elena." Kol sneered. "How's baby Gilbert? Oh wait, he's dead because he fought for you. If I may say, it all seems like a pattern, Elena cries, people fight, people die. You should really consult someone about that."

"Don't be mean baby," Bonnie scolded. "It's not Elena's fault that so many people die in her pathway because of protecting her."

"Bonnie, this isn't you," Elena tried to plead. "This might be Caroline's lifestyle because she's selfish, but you are good. You're supposed to go to college and become a librarian or something."

"Oh wow, it's Lawyer, thank you very much." Bonnie glared. "I'm also supposed to have my mum and dad give me away on my wedding day, my baby is supposed to have grandparents, but that can't happen all because of you convincing everyone you needed protection. You know what Elena? I can not wait for you to do something stupid, maybe then Kol or someone else will destroy you and I won't even feel bad about it. Also, don't ever call Care selfish again, at least she doesn't play the defenseless victim and wait for anyone to rescue her. Maybe Care had problems before becoming a vampire, but look at her, she's grown. I'm so sad you can't witness us evolve to be who we are now.

"Don't be sorry Bonnie, she did this to herself. I would appreciate it if you all left my house before I have someone throw you out." Caroline said, she was no longer in the mood for any of this nonsense. 

"You heard your new vampire queen," Klaus smirked feeling pride at how far Caroline had come. "Leave."

Marcel, Damon, and Elena flushed out of the house, but everyone knew it wasn't over, not by a long shot. 

Caroline walked over to Stefan. "Are you okay, bro?" She teased lightly. 

Stefan smiled. "I'm good, Damon made his own bed, now he has to lye in it."

"All right, enough of this drama, it's time to continue this soiree." Kol cheered but then his eye widened. "Caroline, did you just pee yourself?"

Caroline blinked looking down her wet leg. "Um, no, my water just broke, she said starting to panic. 

Oooh, baby Mikaelson number one has a flair for drama.
