CAROLINE, BONNIE, LIZ AND SOPHIE coughed the moment they stepped into the new house. It was definitely beautiful, better than and house all four had ever lived in.
"Are you alright?" Elijah asked Sophie.
She nodded. "Yes, it's just really dusty here."
"You'll have to forgive that, no one has lived here for years now." Klaus said.
"The place certainly has its charms." Liz said taking in the surroundings. Very vintage, but I like it. I don't think the Lockwood mansion even measures up to this place."
"Speaking of the Lockwood's, do you think Tyler is gonna keep his word and stay away from you Care?" Bonnie asked.
Caroline shrugged. "I don't know. He seemed to agree to it at the time because Nik had a really sharp knife to his throat, but I wouldn't be surprised if we saw him again soon."
Everyone hummed. Klaus would've been more than fine executing his brainless hybrid, but Caroline had begged him not to. He had drained the boy of all vervain and compelled him to not come after Caroline, but it was evident that compulsion could be broken with the right amount of commitment.
"Anyway, the place is old, but it should serve our purposes for now. Rest assured we'll be moving into the compound soon." Klaus said.
"Thank God." Rebekah said in relief.
"The compound?" Stefan asked.
"Yes, it's our original family home in New Orleans." Elijah supplied. "Marcel is currently dwelling there, so we optioned for this. The compound is like a castle, looks over the entire city, it's in the middle of the French Quarter."
"I'm exhausted," Bonnie mumbled. "And I need a shower. A shower and food."
The Mikaelson man each showed the woman to the rooms they would be staying in. Liz optioned for the farthest room from all the couples. She didn't want to here what her daughter got up to with her boyfriend. Sophie had agreed to share a room with Elijah although that didn't take too much convincing. Stefan and Rebekah were of course together. The same went for the other two couples.
When, Caroline, Bonnie, Liz, and Sophie where asleep, the Mikaelson's and Stefan started cleaning up a little. Make the place more livable.
"I don't understand why you didn't compel people to do this Nik." Rebekah complained as she uncovered a red and gold loveseat.
"Caroline said I couldn't." Klaus said.
Kol chuckled. "Wow Nik, I never thought I'd see the day when you'd be so whipped."
"You should speak. Which one of us has resorted to drinking from blood bags again because their girlfriend threatened to hold off sexual contact if she saw him drinking straight from the vein again?"
Kol frowned and threw a rag at Klaus who merely laughed it off. Moments like this were much cherished. Moments like this made him regret ever daggering his family.

Early the next morning when everyone woke up, Caroline, Bonnie, Liz, and Sophie where shocked at how nice the living room looked.
"Where you guys up all night doing this?" Bonnie asked.
Kol nodded. "Hope it's to your liking now. We also happened to locate three cribs."
"Belonging to whom?" Caroline asked.
"An old general. I killed the old fart. He happened to be Marcel's father, but he never acknowledge the boy as his own." Klaus said.
