"So be honest with me, why did you offer to come with me?" Sophie asked from the passenger seat as Elijah drove. "Unless you don't trust me to come back?"

"I trust you. I don't know why, but I do. Anyway maybe I just wanted to get to know you more without my family around. And I also didn't want you alone because if people find out you're helping the Mikaelson's, there will be a bounty on your head."

"Why would you want to know me? Soon as we are done here, we'll probably never see each other again." Sophie said, not meeting his eyes, she didn't want to give anything away. "Once our business is done, you won't give a damn about me."

Elijah pulled the car over and turned to face Sophie. "Is that what you think?" Elijah asked. "That once we are done, that we are going to wash our hands of you?"

"No one has ever cared about me, so why should you? My own parents and my sister turned against me because I didn't believe in the way of the New Orleans witched. Why should it be any different with a complete stranger?"

"Because not all of us are like that." Elijah said staring her in the eyes. "You've been hurt, brutally."

"What would you know." Sophie hissed. "I'm sorry, I just don't know how to react around you sometimes. I don't know if I should be scared or if I should relax."

"I understand." Elijah said. "Do I make you nervous?"

Sophie scoffed. "Of course not."she lied. "Why would you think that."

"Your heart rate went insane when I asked if I made you nervous." Elijah teased.

Sophie giggled. "Just shut up and drive."

Elijah sighed dramatically. "Whatever the lady wishes. So are you prepared to step into New Orleans again?"

"No." Sophie said. "We have to be quick. There is a shop in the Quarter that sells herbs and witch woo things. We'll find what we need there. I think it's best if you stay out of sight though."

Elijah nodded driving past the welcome to New Orleans sign. Sophie showed him to her apartment and he agreed to stay there, if she wasn't back in an hour he would come looking for her. Sophie agreed and left. When she got to the little shop, she unfortunately bumped into one of the witch elders, Agnes.

"Sophie? Where have you been, we've been looking for you?" Agnes asked with fake concern.

"A friend of mine out of town need my help. I only came back to collect some more clothes since I might be need there longer than I thought. Is Katie in?" Sophie asked.

"Sophie?" A teenage girl gasped before running and hugging her. "I have been trying to call you, where have you been?"

"I haven't even turned on my phone since I left New Orleans. I'm sorry." Sophie said. Katie was the only one she trusted in the Quarter. "How is business?"

"Slow." Katie chuckled. "So you're living again? Marcel is asking around for you. He seems to be bored of late and has bumped up his terrorizing of witches."

Sophie sighed. "I'll be back soon, but don't tell him you saw me." She looked around and realized Agnes had left whilst she and Katie where talking. "Katie I am about to tell you something, but you can not tell anyone, not if you want things to get better for the witches."

Katie frowned. "Sophie you know me, you can trust me. What's going on?"

"I'm bringing the Originals back to town, all of them, they are going to help. In exchange all I have to do is bring back their brother."

Katie gasped. "Oh my gosh? Everyone said you'd abandoned us, but I knew they were wrong. I promise I won't say a thing. Just promise me you'll stay safe?"
