Lucy pov

"Lucy!"
"Lucy!"

I heard my roommate levy scream running up the stairs of our two bedroom apartment and into my room waking me up out of my sleep.

"What it's S-Saturday and m-my shift at the coffee s-shop starts in a f-few hours" I yell throwing my blankets off me and sitting up looking at levy her curly blue hair wrapped up.

"He's back at it again" levy said her eyes wide, sleep still in them

"No w-way!" I yell getting off my bed and running down the steps to the living room, slipping on the last one.

"Look" levy says from behind me picking up the tv remote pressing play

Levy pressed play on the tv, the news anchor started to talk.

"He's back ladies and gentlemen, The dragons back and last night he made a grand return by tagging a local convince store on third street."
The camera then flashed to a the store showing a signature dragon but unlike his usual red trade mark this time it's pink and yellow.

"That's right folks he's back and with an unusual platte colour, we've missed his work for a whole year and never have we seen him use pink or any bright colours"

"See lu I told you he's back" Levy said sitting on the couch, pushing her  wisps of blue hair out of her face and back into her wrap.

"Wow I-I can't b-believe he's back, I've missed h-his work" I said joining her on the couch

"So any news from the art thing" she said

"No t-they said that the c-competition is gonna s-start next w-week b-but I still haven't received my email" I said laying my head on levy's lap

"Aww it's okay lu you'll get in your the best painter I know" levy said petting my head pushing my blonde hair over my shoulder

"Levy I'm n-not gonna g-get in,there are so m-Many other painters  b-better then me, like I-I'm not even in the same l-league as the g-graffiti dragon" I cried

"Lucy Heartfilia look at me!" Levy demands pulling me off her lap by the shoulders

"Your the best oil painter I know and there are different styles of painting and you'll beat everyone because your style is unique" levy said looking me straight in the eyes

"You think?" I ask

"I know so, now you've got work and I've gotta go open the library so go take a shower" Levy said getting up walking to her room.

I get up and head to the shower

I got out of the shower and walk to the mirror to see how my outfit looks.
Red sweater with white neck cuffs, black miniskirt with black and white converse and my hair in low pigtails.

"Lu come one lets go" levy scream from down stairs.

"I'm coming give m-me a second" I yell gabbing my black backpack, phone and earbuds closing my door behind me

I meet levy at the front door she's wearing a short orange dress with a matching headband and white flats

"Okay I've got the keys and your shift starts at 12:30 and it 10:00 now so you'll be able to help or chill with me at the shop" Levy said out loud counting on her fingers.

"Let's go" I said opening the door and walking to mine and levy's car and we made our way to "Shadow Gear library"

We've been sitting in Levy's library for 30 minutes and I'm freaking out. I just remember I'm out of oil and I need to finish a painting I've been working on. It's a girl and a boy who've been cursed,
The theme is "light in the darkness".

"Levy I'm g-gonna go the art s-store down t-the street t-that o-opened up a few days ago" I yelled getting up fixing my skirt.

"Okay lu if your going that way pick me a bag of pens" levy screamed for behind one or hundreds book shelf's

"Okay I'll be b-back before 12:00" I yelled walking out her store and making my way to the store.

I've lived in Fiore for years. I ran from home when I was little and eventually got a job at Studio 16 or the local coffee shop. While I was working rent got harder and harder to keep up with. Until I meet Levy she was in the same boat as me, well up until the running away part.

Anyways she was working at her library and I went in one day and seen a sign that said roommate wanted. I asked her about it and she said call her after work. We both got along really well, we both love books,movies and both really like solving mysteries out favourite one is the graffiti Dragon identity.

The identity of the graffiti Dragon is a mystery to all. He's never shown he's face or given any hints as to who he is. He's got skills with a paint can though, all of he's art is done in various shades of red or dark colours, so his sudden use of pink and yellow is a true mystery. He only paints dragons, but their always in-

"Oof" I said chasing into something hard and fall on my ass

"Oh shit my bad are you okay" a voice said holding out his hand.

I looked up and seen a lean, slightly tan boy ask his green eyes shown with concern and pink hair?
"Y-yeah I'm okay, y-you" I stutter I've never been good with talking to people.

"Yeah I'm good" he said smiling.

"Y-you have pink hair" I accidentally say out loud.

"Yes and you have blonde hair, I'm glade we've cleared this up" he said sarcastically

His hand still out waiting for me to grab it.

I grab his hand and pull my self up, but I pulled my self up way to fast and we both are nose and nose.

I watched as his smile fall and his checks turned light pink. I've never seen a guy blush.

"Um" he cleared his throat we both separated.

"S-sorry I'm just on my w-way to the art store a few stores from here" I said fixing my sweater sleeves.

"Oh I'm trying to find a book store actually, it's called Shadow Gear" he said questioning the name

"Oh my best friend t-runs the place I could walk you there" I said pointing behind me

"Oh really that would be awesome, my little sister has been bothering me about it for weeks but wait don't you want to go the art store" he says.

"N-Nah I c-could walk y-you there go to w-work a-and then j-just go after work" I said more to myself then to him. I hate my stupid stutter

"Are you sure, cause I could just find it myself" he says

"No it's o-okay let's go...um what's y-your n-name" I said realizing that I never got his name.

"Oh Natsu" he said holding out his hand again

"Lucy" I said shaking his hand and we made out way to Levy's place.
