Maya's Pov
Ring ! Ring ! Ring !
Silence
Ring ! Ring !
A hand had popped out and stopped the alarm. Carl took his hand off the alarm and lowered to my soft brown hair. I knew what time it was and remained still hoping Carl would just want to sleep more.
" Maya." Carl called." Maya."
" Hmm ?"
" It's time to wake up." He said hearing me take a deep breath before opening my eyes and groaning.
" Ten more minutes."
" Maya."
" I wanna sleep forever."
" I know you do." Carl said sitting up now and taking the comic books off us. I sat up rubbing my eye before yawning and standing up.
" I'm taking you're shirt." I said grabbing the nearest one.
" You take them all the time."
" Well, there soft and run just well. Who knew Carl Grimes was great at shooting and clothes buying." I laughed leaving his cell with my toothbrush and heading to the showers. On my way, I saw the people of Woodbury passing by smiling to me.
" Morning M."
" Morning Rosewood."
" Nice to see you, Maya."
"Nice to see you too." I said waving to the Woodbury kindly. I went to the bathroom seeing it was empty and changed out of my old shirt and into Carl's gray t-shirt. I brushed her teeth quickly, cleaned my face, and fixed my bedhead before coming out seeing the laundry basket with my name on it and tossing my shirt inside.
" Ready ?" Carl said coming out of the boy's bathroom at the same time.
" Yeah." I smiled. We walked all the way down the trail to see Mr. Grimes feeding the pigs.
" You didn't wake me up."
" Cause I knew you were up all night reading comics with a flashlight and Maya."
" Caught red handed." I laughed." Hey, what's up with Violet ?"
" She don't look to good." Carl agreed.
" Kids, I told you not to name them. They're not piglets anymore. They're food."
" Good ass food." I whispered.
" I just thought, you know, until" Carl paused seeing his father's face." Okay."
" I don't know what's going on with her. Could be sick, could be nothing. Feel better, Violet." Mr. Grimes said before smiling and looking over to us seeing they smiled also." Come on, let's get to it."
" I'll see you guys later."
Mr. Grimes nodded walking with a bucket." You too."
