Zoe and I sit on the loveseat before we continue talking.
"So... Y/n do you have a job? I mean I kind of assume you do." She asks.
"Uh, yeah. I work at a hot topic down by the mall. I'm off for a week, unless they really need me." I respond, sipping my coffee.
"Oh okay. That seems like a job you would be into. Do you like it currently?" She asks, sipping her coffee.
"Yeah. I love the job just not some of the people. A lot of them are dicks." I say, laughing a little.
"Theres always that one person to ruin something you love. But maybe they'll get fired." She says.
"Yeah." I ask her a question now. "Yesterday, you asked if I like Joe. Is there anybody you're currently into or dating?" I ask, her cheeks tint pink.
"Yeah. I guess." She sheepishly says, embarrassed.
"Who? Who?" I repeatedly ask.
"This guy named Alfie. He's one of Joe's friends, but we know each other. Unfortunately, I know he doesn't feel the same for me." She says, putting her head down slightly.
"How come?"
'Who couldn't like Zoe? She's sweet, funny, beautiful. Her flawless brown/blonde hair, her electrifying eyes, her in general. She is perfect. Dang, I would go gay for her. Literally already am.'
"He used to be all friendly around me, but now he always ignores me. He doesn't go near me, like I have a disease. If doesn't tell you somethin', then I don't know what does." She says, her voice saddens.
"Maybe theres a reason he's avoiding you. Maybe his feelings are overwhelming and he doesn't want to ruin the friendship you have currently." I say.
"You might be right, but I don't know." She says, drinking some of her coffee.
"Wow, this conversation's tone changed based on a single question. Let's talk about something else." She nods.
"What are some of you hobbies?" She asks. (I'm gonna say mine but you can change them if you want to.)
"I like to draw, read, write and play piano. I also like to watch anime and look through tumblur. When I'm alone, I'll sing, but that's only when I'm alone. No one has heard me sing and it might just stay that way. I have a lot of hobbies and I don't know why." I somewhat regret telling her about my singing hobby.
"No, its fine. I have a lot too. You sound just like a friend of mine. He watches anime and looks through tumblur. That's literally all he does, other than youtube." She says.
"Oh that's cool. What's his name?" I ask. Maybe I can meet him.
"Oh. His name is Dan. He is best friends with Phil as well." She responds.
"Oh okay. Can I ask something?" She nods. "Has Joe acted like that before?"
"Yeah, not for the same reason. He was diagnosed with anger issues, so that's why I just let him calm himself before talking to him." She says.
"Oh. That makes sense. Has his anger issues made him do anything he majorly regrets?" I ask.
"Oh no. If you are getting to where I think you're going, no he hasn't. Even if it ever will, I will not stand for it." She says.
"Stand for what?" I hear Joe ask from the door.
"Oh nothing. Are you okay?" Zoe says.
"Somewhat. A little mad is all." He says, then heading to the kitchen.
"I'm sorry." She says and gets up to put mine and her cup in the sink.
"For what?" He says.
"Sorry that I told her. There was an important reason to why I told her." She said.
"And what would that be?" He said, leaning his body against the counter.
Zoe looked at me, asking me if she could tell him. I vigoriously shook my head no.
"Y/n has something to tell you. I can't be the one to tell though. She'll tell you when she is ready, that's all I'm saying." Zoe says. "I'm heading to my room. Y/n that plan can still happen by the way. You can always stay in the guest bedroom." She says, before heading upstairs.
"Okay. Thanks." I say, then looking at Joe.
"So you know now. Can I ask you a question?" He asks, worry present in his eyes.
"Yeah. Of course." I say, sitting down, patting the spot next to me.
Joe takes my offer and sits there.
"Honest answer. Do you think I'm a creep?"
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"Do you think I'm weird, creepy, psycho for liking you? I mean we just met a few days ago." He says, refusing to look at me.
"Of course I don't. I don't think that at all. Theres no reason to. The only thing I think is that you are damn weird, but in a good way. But if you think you're weird or psycho or whatever you think you are for liking me, then I am too because I like you too." I admit.
"So that's why she told you I liked you, because you liked me back. That makes sense. Sorry I just walked out and flipped out." He apologizes.
"Its okay. I'm sorry I didn't say anything. I've had a past." I say, not wanting to get into detail.
"Oh. How so?" He asked, curiously.
"I don't really want to talk about it, if that's alright."
"That's completely alright. So what do you want to do?"
I look around for things to do. I see a TV, singing equipment, cooking, drawing stuff, phones, and random other things we could do. I was staring at the singing equipment a little longer than I had meant to and Joe had noticed.
"Do you like to sing?" He asked.
"N-no. I was just looking. Do you have a pen or pencil and paper?" I ask, meaning the drawing stuff.
"Uh yeah." He gets up and grabs some of the drawing stuff. "Do you draw?" He asks.
"Yeah. I have been since I was like 6." I say, sketching out on of the flowers on the table.
The flowers were white roses, with shades of pink flowing through the petals. The vases matched perfectly, with its white and pink ombre. I continued to sketch out the flowers and Joe just sat there staring at me draw. Once I finished, I held up the drawing to the flowers comparing them. After adding some touches, I finished the drawing. It was a pretty good black and white drawing of the flowers and it matched pretty well. Joe just sat there in awe.
"That's amazing. I didn't know you could draw like that, and in that amount of time. That's crazy." I blushed at his compliment.
"Thanks." I say, sliding the pencil away from the paper.
"Can I keep this?" He asks.
"Yeah. Hey, do you want to watch TV?" I ask.
"Yeah. But what?"
"Um, do you like f/s?(favorite show)"
"Yeah." He says, as he turns on the TV and puts the show on.
After a while, my head was on Joe's shoulder. My eyes began to feel heavy and I fell into a deep sleep.
