3rd Person:

Lucia spent the next months figuring out her new setting in the new pack. She got comfortable in Greyson's room; unpacking and adding little touches to make it theirs

She confronted the Betas. She sat them all in a room, brought her little wooden box with her mom's letters and revealed to them what she had very recently learned herself. She was a part of their family - by blood, she had to clarify. She wasn't comfortable jumping in and being treated like 'Arlina.' After all, she grew up as Lucia and that's who she feels she is. Faith cried while Emily's jaw hit the floor. Leo was surprised for a moment but he had felt a brother-sister connection with his twin since they first met at the Igor pack. They agreed to her terms of not being rushed into any family things, and that she was to be called Lucia still. Slowly they started incorporating her in dinners and other events, and Lucia felt right at home.

A few months into her stay at her new pack, she received a letter. It was anonymous and had to be deciphered to read, but Lucia knew exactly who is was from. When she finally was able to decipher the coded words, she discovered it told her a location and time.

Greyson hadn't known about the letter, or he would've stopped her from going. Instead, Lucia kept it a secret. She left on the date of the letter and walked into a little cafe, a few towns away from her new home. She walked in, ordered a smoothy, and sat in a booth in the back. It didn't take long before she was joined by three figures. One large blonde squeezed in next to her, a red head directly across from her, and another blonde next to him.

Lucia smiled at them, tears building on the sides of her eyes, but she didn't allow them to fall.

"I've missed you guys," Lucia says softly. She reaches out to squeeze each of their hands. "To what do I owe this pleasure?"

The red head, Derek, replies, "Lucia, you look wonderful."

"Wonderful?" the blonde next to him, Ruben, questions, "She looks so big!"

Lucia laughs at him as the blond next to her glares at his brother. Raymond yells at him, "What the fuck Ruben, she's pregnant, of course she's big!"

Lucia smiles as they argue a bit longer. She ponders on the times she spent with them in her old pack. She feels her heart squeeze with warmth. She really did miss these boys, her boys. It had been so long since she even heard from them. She could only just hope they escaped the attack just fine.

"Lucia," Derek cuts in, "I hate to cut this short but we really don't have much time. We're on a mission and need to go soon."

"Oh," she says alarmed. She really doesn't know what to say.

"I'm glad you're safe, kid." Raymond ruffles her hair from next to her. "We came here to warn you."

"Warn me?" She questions. They had to be joking, right? What could possibly be putting her in harms way now?

"The Alpha knows you're alive." Derek cuts in. "He wants Damien's child."

Her facial expression changes to anger, "What? How does he... well that's beside the point. This isn't Damien's child." She informs them, "it's Greyson's."

Ruben pops in, "uhh, you told us yourself it was Damien's"

I growl. "It was a front! Damien and I never... well we never did anything of the sort. He threatened Greyson and my babies. Made me tell everyone that I was pregnant with his child."

"Oh shit..." Raymond admits.

Derek groans, "Doesn't change anything Lucia... Stay on guard, okay? Just because it isn't Damien's doesn't mean the Alpha will believe that. He wants your kid."

"Kids..." Lucia corrects him automatically. "I'm having twins."

They all freeze for a moment, but react accordingly in the next few minutes. They congratulate her, tell her how much they miss her and quickly summarize what's been going on in the other pack. They admit that the pack has moved to another location and that the Alpha is scheming things and not even telling the rogue squad. Before long, they have to go. They leave her with a warning and their half-emptied coffee cups.

She remained in the café, stunned for a while before she cleaned up and returned home to her mate.

It wasn't more than a month or so after that when Lucia went into labor. She was brought to Dr. Zoe and was closely accompanied by Greyson, Emily, Faith, and Sienna. After over twenty-two hours of immense pain, labor, and pushing, Lucia and Greyson were gifted two beautiful children.

They were darling little creatures. One of each gender. The girl followed after her father, the brightest green eyes and little flakes of dark brown, almost black hair. The boy looked more like Lucia, with caramel brown eyes and brown hair. Both were crying until they were cleaned off and handed to their mother, who laid on the bed, sweaty and worn out. What an exhausting day they just put her through, but she had to admit, they were so worth it.

She cradled them close to her chest and soon shared them with her mate and their family members. Everyone was cooing over the sight of the cute babies, excitedly dropping off gifts and flowers, and visiting her room constantly for the next few days to see them.

For names, Lucia had decided upon Dawn for the girl. That had practically made Greyson cry himself but he held it together. Dawn was the name of his sister who had died when he was young. He was ecstatic his mate wanted to honor her in that way. The boy's name was a bit harder to come by, they were going through lists. Eventually they came across the name Liam. As it was said aloud, the young boy giggled and smiled up at his father, who was cradling him at the time, and there was no turning back after that.

The children grew up fast. Lucia and Greyson could barely keep up with them. When they learned to crawl, they were menaces. Dawn would grab anything and everything she could and pull on it until it became her's. It wasn't really much of a problem until she decided earrings were her new favorite thing. Liam on the other hand liked to kick. It was more out of joy or surprise, but overtime, when something would happen, he would just start kicking. The most interesting was when Dawn would grab Liam's ear, hoping to find an earring, and Liam would kick Dawn in return. By the end of it they would both be crying and wresting on the floor.

Lucia and Greyson surely had their hands full. The real problems didn't start arriving until the twins turned 3. Lucia had taken them both out to go shopping. She didn't bother asking anyone to join her because she didn't want to stress anyone else out. As they were going through the store, both kids placed in the carriage, facing Lucia. At some point during the trip Dawn reached out a tiny little finger and pointed behind Lucia.

That's when Lucia felt as if she was being watched. Her head swung around, in just enough time to catch the shadow of a person ducking into an isle. A chill ran down Lucia's spine. She knew her instincts were still perfectly in tact, so she trusted them. She scooped up both children and left the store in a rush, heading back home.

Every so often Lucia would feel the same unusual and fear inspiring sense, of being watched. Then she would feel the chills being flung down her spine. It only ever happened when she was out of the house and alone or just with the children. She often found that she felt the most comfortable secluding herself and the children in the pack house. She never shared her fears with Greyson, because she had never actually been able to find anyone following her. Eventually she concluded that her talk with Derek and the boys just made her paranoid.

It wasn't until that unfortunate day, that she realized she wasn't actually paranoid at all...
