Sleeping in a Dusty Room

"So this is how you get to your sleeping quarters." I state as we walk down the hallway toward the men's corridor.

"Sleeping quarters? What are we in the seventeenth century?" Greyson snips from behind me.

"Shut it Grey. No one asked your opinion." I say and wave off his comment, "Oh and that reminds me, I have no idea what kind of life you came from but here you can't speak out of term. Rule number one, watch out for who you are talking to. If they are higher up in the ranks than you, then they have the right to rip your balls off. That my friends, is not a lie."

Out of the corner of my eye I see Leo make a sour face and cover his private area with his hands. I laugh to myself, but honestly that was the truth. If a higher up really wanted to, they could have your balls in a cup and spoon fed to you if you disobey them.

"Whatever Lucia, and don't call me Grey." Greyson snaps at me and I laugh.

"Oh calm your tits." I say and turn around to face them with a smile. I come to a stop and they quickly follow suit. I motion my right hand toward the door on their left and say, "Well this is the first room of the two, you guys can choose who-"

"I get dibs!" Leo shouts as he runs through the door and into the room ecstatically.

I give Greyson an odd look and motion toward the child bouncing on the bed with my thumb, "Is he always like this?"

"Sadly, yes."

"Interesting..." I bring my hand up to my chin and watch him.

He acts like he doesn't have a care in the world. Honestly I don't even know if I see children in this pack acting like that. Something is off with these two. I just don't know what it is yet.

"Let's allow him to play in his room for a bit. He looks so happy I don't want to disturb him." I add and turn around, walking away from the room.

I feel Greyson's presence behind me and continue to walk toward his room.

"Because your friend over there got the good room, you are left with the one all the way toward the back end of the corridor. I hope you don't mind. It isn't as large either but at least you get a nice balcony outside your window. You get one because your room is located at the side of the house and not at the front of it!" I say excitedly.

"Size and luxury really don't matter to me. As long as I have a bed I'm pleased." He says nonchalantly.

"Is that so?" I ask.

"Yeah."

"Okay, well if that's the case then here." I turn around and toss him a set of keys. "I guess you wouldn't mind sleeping in the cell that you just came out of?"

He smirks at my comment and walks up to me, "You are one spiteful girl, you know that?"

I smirk and snatch the keys from his hands and continue toward his room, "Rule number two, always be thankful for what is given to you."

I peek back over my shoulder to see him happily shaking his head at me. I smile to myself, I really enjoy teasing this guy. He takes it so well.

We make it to his room and I open the door and flick the light on. The room is smaller than most but still large enough to hold a bed, wardrobe, nightstand, TV and other miscellaneous things.

Unlike Leo's room, this room isn't frequently in use so the bed isn't made and some of the furniture is a bit dusty. I cough as I walk through the room. Damn. I guess people really haven't been here in a while. I walk to the windows and open up the blinds and the balcony door to let some air in. Luckily the sun is starting to go down so there is a nice chilled breeze that blows into the room.
