"This is fucking ridiculous!" I screech as I storm out of Howler's Den.
Rina rushing up behind me, followed by Leo, Greyson and Raymond.
"Lucia slow down, his plan could work!" Rina pleads as she finally catches my arm.
Stopping in my tracks, I turn her way and look into her pleading eyes. I sigh but shake my head, anger still flowing through every inch of my body. My wolf is pacing just thinking of Damien's stupid plan.
"Rina, there is no way in hell I'm letting him put us at risk like this. You realize that he wants you and me to dress up like those skanks," I motion toward the Howler's Den, "and try to seduce a wolf who is in a werewolf hunter's home? Not to mention it isn't just any hunter's home either, it's Salvador Antwan's home."
Rina looks back and forth between my eyes. She can see how seriously against this plan I am. Yet something is holding her back from agreeing with me. It's as if she wants to partake in this suicide mission.
"I mean it's not like we are going in alone. Catalina and one of her friends are coming as well. And Catalina knows Rodger, so he will certainly let us into the club. It's a solid plan. You and I are just there to keep a close watch on Catalina. She is the one who will be seducing him and luring him into our trap." Rina points out.
It's true. Catalina is the one who will be doing most of the work. Rina and I just need to make sure the plan runs smoothly. It also pisses me off that Damien gave the most important part of the job to Catalina. I mean it's not like she has even left this pack house since she joined. The girls are rarely ever allowed to leave the house. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't even know how to seduce a man if I tried, but I feel that there is a better way of luring Rodger into our trap than using Catalina of all people. Why do we have to use the help of that slut? Now I feel as if I'm going to owe her something.
"We should at least try it out. If we don't then we are letting this opportunity of capturing Rodger slip right out of our fingertips." She adds.
I sigh and look over at the boys who followed us, they are just standing there watching the scene unfold. Greyson looks into my eyes, and I can sense concern as he looks at me. My wolf finally begins to slow her pacing as she takes in Greyson's stare.
Raymond cuts in, "Honestly Lucia, I think it could work. We will be right outside the whole time, and you will have an earpiece in. There won't be a second that you can't communicate with us."
I pause for a moment. Taking in all the information. Something in my gut is still telling me no, but with everyone saying yes, my inner strength is failing me. I feel my will beginning to bend.
"But... I just think it't too dangerous. Rina, I don't think you should come." I add.
Her face scrunches up and soon I feel a hard pinch on my right arm.
"Ow!" I screech and hold the throbbing spot.
"Stop telling me what to do Lucia. I'm not as weak as you think I am. I can handle myself you know!" She shouts angrily and crosses her arms over her small chest. Her short black hair softly tousled around her face as she stares up and glares into my soul. My wold huffs at the idea of her challenging us.
I frown as well, "It's not that I think you're weak, it's just I don't trust Damien or Catalina. I just think something is going to go wrong with both of them in control of this mission and you shouldn't be there."
"And have you ever thought that maybe I worry about you too? And that the reason I want to go is to ensure your safety?" She snaps back.
Me? She wants to make sure I'm okay?
