Lloyd looked around and saw the guys in the game room. "Hey guys, do you want to come with me to get my comic?" Lloyd asks. "Sorry Green Machine. We're about to beat this game. Maybe some other time?" Cole replies.

"Oh. Thanks anyways." Lloyd says then wanders off to find his dad. Said person came in and saw a sad Lloyd. "Son? Are you alright?"

Lloyd POV

"I- I'm f-fine" I manage. Tears slowly crawl from my eyes. Dad looks at me then places his hand on my shoulder. "Lloyd, I can't help you unless you tell me what is wrong. Now, would you like to tell why your upset?" He asked me. "Dad, I... uh um... I'm sorry! I don't know how to explain it!" I break out and run out of the room. My father shouting my name.

There’s got to be another way out

I’ve been stuck in a cage with my doubt

I’ve tried forever getting out on my own

Everything happened so fast but I just couldn’t do it alone. Then I remember a tune my friend Alyssa showed me. She said it reminded her of… me. I decided to go and find her in Ninjago since she’s still here and we haven’t figured out how to get her home.

But every time I do this my way

I get caught in the lies of the enemy

I lay my troubles down

I’m ready for you now

After a bit of searching, I realize that Alyssa would know if I was coming from her powers we learned when she first came. Then I hear footsteps from behind and felt a hand on my shoulder.

Bring me out

Come and find me in the dark now

Everyday by myself I’m breaking down

I don’t wanna fight alone anymore

“Lloyd? Are you okay?” Alyssa asks. I feel tears fly down my face and Alyssa lifts my face to face hers. “Lloyd, I’m here for you. Please tell me if your troubled.” She says.

Bring me out

From the prison of my own pride

My God I need hope I can’t deny

I wipe my tears and look at her. “I- I, everyone is too busy to spend time with me. I’m not trying to get attention but, I’d like to do something with everyone.” I say. Tears stream as I think of when I had no one to spend time with.

In the end I’m realizing

I was never meant to fight on my own

Alyssa and I look into each others eyes and I see that she was thinking. Then she gives me a hug.

Every little thing that I’ve known

Is every thing I need to let go

You’re so much bigger than the world I have made

I wasn’t expecting her to do that. I haven’t known Alyssa that long but, it feels as if I’ve known her since I was a kid.

So I surrender my soul

I’m reaching out for your hope

I lay my weapons down

I’m ready for you now

“Lloyd, I may be from another realm but, I want to help you be happy. Help make everyone happy. But we can’t be happy until we find what’s keeping you from it. Tell you what. I’ll see about hanging out with you only if you promise me that you’ll come talk to me when you have something troubling you.”

Bring me out

Come and find me in the dark now

Everyday by myself I’m breaking down

I don’t wanna fight alone anymore

I begin to smile as I think of her helping me. “Thanks Alyssa. Do you think we can plan on doing your birthday at the Bounty?” I ask. She laughs. “Of course! I’d love to have it there. But for now, let’s get you to the Bounty before the others get worried.”

Bring me out

From the prison of my own pride

My God I need a hope I can’t deny

In the end I’m realizing

I was never—

Meant to fight on my own.” Alyssa says. Then she takes out her phone and plays the rest, and I find myself grinning the entire time.

I don’t wanna be incomplete

I remember what you said to me

I don’t have to fight alone

My father and the guys were walking up seeing me actually smiling since I lost Uncle Wu to the Time Twins.

Bring me out

Come and find me in the dark now

Everyday by myself I’m breaking down

I don’t wanna fight alone anymore

But I found out that I can bring out what happens when I can’t stop breaking down.

Bring me out

From the prison of my own pride

My God I need a hope I can’t deny

Because Alyssa found a way to help me when I thought that I was alone. But all this time;

In the end I’m realizing

I was never meant to fight on my own
