Dementia Driving Me Crazy (Kai x Lloyd)

No matter how hard it was, he could do it. The one thing he couldn't do is find the right words to win Kai. The little things he does to hint at it and yet the Ultimate Gay wasn't acknowledged by the fire master.

Nothing could've compared to such a challenge. The others couldn't help him because they had their relationships to deal with. And he knew that he had to win this challenge before Kai asked Skylor.

Before he had known about his sexuality, he always had eyes for Kai. When he was still a kid, Kai was like his older brother. But ever since the Tomorrow's Tea incident and everything after that, he slowly realized that he was attracted to Kai.

"Lloyd? What are you doing outside of Kai's room?" Zane asked the Green Ninja. "Oh, uh I was just wanting to see if Kai could help me with something." Lloyd said too quickly. "Your vitals say otherwise. Your heartrate has spiked with your quick response. Is something bothering you?" Zane asked.

"NO! I mean, I'm fine. I'll be on the deck if you need me." Lloyd says before scurrying out of the hallway. He steps outside and he sighs in relief. Zane almost found out and he didn't know how long it'll be before Kai is swept away from him by Skylor.

He didn't hate Skylor, just he didn't want to lose to her over Kai. Just thinking about it drove him crazy. The complications of loving someone but you know they love someone else. The craziness of it was new to him. But he knew that he wasn't going to give up.

"Hey Greenie. Did you need me earlier? Zane said you were outside of my room." Kai said. Lloyd practically jumped and turned around to face him. "Uh, I wanted to know if you wanted to go to the park with me." Lloyd says nervously.

"Sounds good except I'm meeting Skylor there. She said that she has something important to tell me. Maybe you could tag along and then we could hang out." Kai says. Lloyd nods but inside, he felt like he was going to explode.

"Are you sure you don't want to come with me? I was planning on getting a bunch of candy to share with you if you came with me. I'm pretty sure they have Ninja gummies with you on the cover of the wrapper." Lloyd says.

"Tempting but, I'll pass. See you in a bit." Kai says leaving. Lloyd smacks his hand on his head. "I can't believe I said all of that! I have to ask him or I'll have a meltdown." Lloyd complained. Going full ninja, he followed Kai from a distance and hid in a tree just as Kai and Skylor appeared under it.

"Thanks for coming Kai." Skylor says. "No problem! So what's so important that I had to come?" Kai asked. "I know you asked me out and to be your girlfriend but, I'm with Harumi already. I appreciate that you like me but, you aren't my type." Skylor says.

"Oh, I uh, understand. Are you two happy together?" Kai asked. "Actually, yes. Harumi is getting better everyday and helps me out with running my father's Noodle House." Skylor says. Lloyd leans forward on the branch just above the two when all three heard a cracking sound.

'Oh no.' Lloyd thought as he fell out of the tree. Kai catches him and Skylor chuckles. "Awe, you two look cute together. If you ask me, I think you two are a perfect match. I better head back or else Rumi will talk me ear off about staying out too long. She's such a nice girlfriend. See you later!" Skylor says leaving.

"Were you listening to us the entire time?" Kai asked. Lloyd felt his face heat up in embarrassment. "I was just worried about you Kai. I've liked you for a while now and I thought that I was going to lose you to Skylor." Lloyd says.

"I am bummed that Harumi is with Skylor but if they're both happy, then I guess I should give someone else a chance." Kai says. "Who?" Lloyd asked. Kai in one quick movement, kissed Lloyd.

Lloyd was internally freaking out but he also felt really happy. "I have the craziest boyfriend if he's jealous of me liking someone else. Especially of the opposite gender." Kai says. Lloyd blushes and Kai smiled.

"Speechless, are you? Just as I planned. You'll be my boyfriend though, right?" Kai asked. Lloyd nodded frantically. "Am I crazy or is this a dream come true?" Lloyd asked. "Its real life bud. And Zane said that you seemed like you were going crazy because of what? Asking me out?" Kai asked.

"It drived me crazy when I either didn't have the courage to ask you or the fact that you liked someone else." Lloyd says. "Well I'm with you now and nothing will separate us. If one of us suffers, both of us suffer. If one of us is being corrupted, both of us could become corrupted together. As long as I'm with you, Lloyd." Kai says.

"I'm glad that we did this. Want to get some candy now?" Lloyd asked. "Race you there." Kai says dashing off. "Cheater! Wait for me!" Lloyd yells chasing after him. After they got the candy, they returned to the Bounty and ate it while hanging out in Lloyd's room.
