Million Sparks Of Love (Kai x Jay)

Beautiful night skies always fascinated him. Even when they went to space that one time to stop the Overlord. Whenever he can't sleep, he'll go out onto the deck and stargaze. Sometimes he'll find a group of stars almost in the shape of Kai.

It really was something whenever he was around Kai. But in the end, he would be too shy to say even 'I love you.' But he was going to change that because it was Valentine's Day. Day of love making it the perfect time to ask. But how to ask stumped him hard.

He could try doing the cliché romantic dinner that they always did in movies. Or he could take Kai to Mega Monster Amusement Park and they could be on the ferris wheel. When their capsule cart reaches the top, he could confess and ask then.

There are also the scenarios that he imagined of being rejected by Kai. No matter how hard he tried, the bad scenarios cloud his head making him scared and often runs off for solitude. But then he thought of way that he could ask and not chicken out by leaving.

An escape room. That's what he'll do. He runs back inside to his room and hopped onto his laptop. "Found it! CCombination of starry nights and fireworks on special occasions, we're sure you'll love how much fun you had when you finish.' I'll book it and take Kai over to it." Jay says to himself.

Kai was playing Fist 2 Face like usual and when Jay poked his head in, he saw Lloyd talking to him. "Thanks Lloyd. I wasn't sure about it but I think I'll do it." Kai says. "I hope you two have fun. I think tonight will be the best for you two. I have to head out now. Harumi wanted me to meet her so I could help her with her date with Skylor. Too bad Morro isn't here because I'd totally date him. See you later Kai!" Lloyd says leaving.

Jay watched Lloyd head past him and he took a deep breath before heading into the game room to be face to face with Kai. And real close for that matter. "Kai! I wanted to know if you'd like to go out tonight with me. I booked an escape room and I thought it was perfect." Jay says nervously.

Kai smiles. "Sure! I was actually talking to Lloyd about... uh, never mind! Let's get going then! Lead the way Jay!" Kai says rather quickly. The two get there and once inside, they admired the decorations. They got the instructions and went to work.

Halfway through their given hour, Jay was also thinking about asking Kai when he heard something pop. "Kai? What happened?" Jay asked turning around and seeing Kai giving a nervous chuckle. "My hand caught on fire and I set off some fireworks. Good thing I didn't light the smoke bombs next to them." Kai says before the room clouded with smoke.

"Are you two okay in there!? Let me go get you out!" The lady on the speaker said. "Kai, I love you and I want to know if you'll be my valentine." Jay said quickly. Even though they couldn't see each other, Kai's answer was enough. "Of course Jay. I didn't know how to ask you so I asked Lloyd if he knew how I could do it. You are my one and only." Kai says.

Jay trips over stuff trying to find Kai and then the worst thing happened to them. Just as the door opened and the smoke was being vacuumed out, Kai accidentally set off the big fireworks in the room. "Uh oh." Kai says just as it exploded into a million sparks.

Love is a shocking surprise that hits people in the face when they least expect it and then you have the problem of focusing because they are always on your mind. But when Jay and Kai got taken out of the escape room, the owner banned them from coming back. At least they had fun and confessed to each other. Valentine's Day at its finest. Love is in the air.
