2 Weeks Later

Chloe, Jack, Daren and Mathew eventually found out and I guess you could say that they were all waiting for it to happen.

I figured out that they all were in on this. They all knew Nathan liked me since... Whilst I have no clue.

Chloe and Jack were really happy. We went on multiple double dates like EVERY Saturday. Chloe always teased us of growing old and having babies together.

Daren was pleased he didn't really show it in his features but his expression was happy when he saw us together.

Mathew was a little sad a first but eventually figured that I was happy with Nathan and decided to let go. But overall he's happy about us.

Nathan and I are I don't know how to say it. We kiss, hug everything a couple does but there's something missing.

He hasn't asked me out yet.

Nathan's POV

Today Jack, Daren and Mathew are going to the mall to plan how I'm going to ask out Casey.

I haven't been able to ask her out because every time I get the opportunity somebody has to come and butt in.

Today's Saturday and she's home with Chloe. I've planned something really special for her.

Casey's POV

"No! You can't make me! It's so cold outside!"

I was home alone today. Nathan went out with the boys to the mall to spend some 'guy time' with each other.

Chloe wanted to go to the pier. I refused. A) it's almost 8:00pm B) it's freezing outside C) Chloe scares me.

"Please! I'll do anything! Just put this on!" She was holding a blue dress, with leggings and a black cardigan.

"No Clo. It's bloody freezing outside and your making me wear a dress! Hell no."

"Casey. Put. The. Bloody. Dress. On."

I gave I eventually gave in and slipped on the clothes.

We arrived at the pier around 9pm.

"I still don't get why I have to get so dolled up but you don't." I crossed my arms over my chest and raise a brow.

"Oh shut up. Wait here. I left something at the house."

"Wa-" Before I could even reply she quickly got in the car and drove off leaving me in the darkness.

I looked around. My hair constantly falling in my face with the wind. "Oh gosh." I held my hair back but my fringe blew everywhere.

"Casey?" I turned around and smiled at the silhouette in the distance. He walked up to me and smiled.

"Nathan.." It all clicked into place. The pier.

"Hey." He placed his hands on my cheek. He leaned in and kissed me. I kissed back, hands on his torso.

"You did all this?" He smirked whilst kissing me again.

"With a little help." I smiled up at him and looked at my surroundings more deeply. Things I didn't realise till now.

The bridge leading out to the lake had candles lining all the way till the very end. At the end was a note around it was rose petals.

I let go of his embrace and walked up to the note. There was only one word but it made butterflies erupt like it would if there was an ENTIRE essay. The thought made me smile.

Remember?

I held the note in my hands and turned my gaze to Nathan. I nodded, smiling in the process.

"Do you want to jump?" I dropped the note and nodded. He walked up to me and connected hands with me.

We took a step back and ran till the end and jumped. Landing in the water. Only I jumped but Nathan didn't.

The coldness surrounded my body as I hit the water. I was soaked to the skin. All of Chloe's hard work ruined. I frowned when I saw Nathan.

"Hey! You didn't jump!" He smirked at the edge of the pier, completely warm and dry. Whilst I'm here soaked and cold.

"Do you want me to?" I nodded but immediately regretted my decision.

I swam as far as I could from the bridge as possible. Oh gosh. I heard a splash. I stopped swimming to shore and turned around. There was no sign of Nathan.

My feet couldn't reach the bottom of the lake. If Nathan was here he could reach the bottom without even standing on his toes. I was running out if breath. I continued treading water.

I felt hands go around my waist. I tensed up for a bit but relaxed when he said something.

"D'you really think you could out swim me?" I smirked and turned around to face Nathan.

"I tried my best." He smiled and kissed the tip of my nose.

"That's my Casey." I wrapped my legs around his waist as he placed his hands around my torso. My arms went around his neck, our lips connected. After a few minutes our lips parted.

"After all this time I've always wanted to ask you this question. But everything I get the chance something always happens.

"And what is this question?"

"I'm scared. What is something happens? I've waited for this moment for a long time."

"Nothing with happen, Nathan."

"Promise?" I smiled up at him and kissed his nose

"Promise." There was silence for a while, Nathan and I lost in each other's gazes.

"Casey. Will you be my girlfriend?" I can't express how happy I am when I heard those few words. I nodded smiling like a creep.

"Yes!" I kissed him fully on the lips. He pulled away and kissed my forehead.

"I love you Cas." I smiled up at him and pecked him on the lips.

"I love you too Nathan."
