Have you ever got so deep in your thoughts that you become detached?
So deep into your own assumptions that they become a reality?
That's what I do with you sometimes.
Sometimes I make myself believe untrue things
Like that you hate me...
Or that you will never truly be my friend...
That's what happens when I'm in my head.
I over analyze...
I over dramatize...I make myself believe that you hate my touch when you pull away.
I make myself believe you hate my face when you don't look at me when I speak.
I make myself believe that you hate my body when you don't snuggle up next to me in bed.Being in your head can be dangerous sometimes.
It can lead you into the dark...
And just when you have found your light.
It can place a burden on your back...
Right after you are rid of the heavy load.
I've written this to warn you of such a state.
You should never assume people's feelings.
That could be the end of your relationship, and for what?
Feelings that were only inside your head?
