Los Angeles, California

-

Lilliana got in her rental car, putting her bags in the backseat and slamming the door to the back. She moved to the front drivers seat, buckling herself in. She sighed, resting her hands on the wheel.

A buzz from her phone then indicated a notification.

It was Blake.

"Hey, just wanted to make sure you knew the game starts at 8:00 p.m. My brother will be there so just look for him and that'll be your seat. I can't wait to see you."

Lilliana felt tears stream down her face, putting her head on the wheel. She didn't know it would hurt her this much to leave him like this, with absolutely no notice. After all, that was kind of his thing.

She typed in the directions to Wasco, California that the envelope had read, where her father was being held.

The drive there wasn't peaceful at all. Lilliana's sighed constantly filled the car, over and over again. She felt like a child who couldn't sleep and was trapped in a small space.

She pulled over, in the middle of no where. Pure sandy desert and barely anyone on the two way road. She sat back in her seat while her hands reached the cooling system, turning the AC up even higher. She finally relaxed, pulling back into the lane, ready to do this.

She was going to face the man that had been writing her letters ever since him and her mother let Lilliana go.
