After two long hours of driving, Lilliana made it. She checked into a nice motel, then taking her keys to the room, unlocking the door. She would see her father tomorrow morning, not knowing how he'll react, or if he'll even recognize her.

She laid down on the bed, her head resting on the soft mattress as she looked up at the ceiling. She missed Blake alot, and could really use his comfort.

She decided to call her best friend, Scarlett, to inform her she got there safely.

"Hey, I'm here, I just checked into a motel." Lilliana said.

"Hey love, you seem upset? Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I just miss home and really don't know how to feel about seeing him tomorrow. I thought I was ready, but I don't know."

"Lilli, you'll be okay. You always know how to make situations better. Is everything okay with Blake? I saw a bunch of pictures online..."

"Yeah, we're fine but I'm not sure after this. I kind of didn't tell him I'd be coming to California."

"Lilliana! What the hell? Why not?" Scarlett yelled into the phone.

"Because I didn't want him stopping me or worrying about me. But now I'm not so sure I did the right thing." She said, biting her lip to stop her tears.

"Lilli, you two can work it out, he seems so into you. Don't worry about that though, worry about yourself and everything going on with your father."

"Thanks, you always know what to say. I love you, say hi to everyone back home."

"Love you too L, and remember to talk things out with him, please. I can tell you're happy through just pictures off magazines." She laughed.

Lilliana smiled for the first time that night, engraving Scarlett's words into her mind. She was going to fix things with Blake as soon as she was done meeting to her father.
