I walked through the halls, my mind on yuki. I felt drawn to her for some reason. Maybe it was her fiestyness, or maybe just who she was as a person. Her whole village died, yet she was still living on for them.

I knocked on her door, a muffled 'come in' reached my ears. I am pretty sure she mumbled 'jerk' after her words, but it could have been my imagination. I pushed the door open, shutting it as I walked over to her.

She was laying on her bed, a small smirk on her face. I was glad she stopped playing the silent game, but I knew she had something else planned. She glanced at me, one brown raising.

"Whats with the armor?" She sat up, crawling across the bed until she was close enough to touch my chestplate. I sighed, sitting on the bed.

"All kings have to wear it," I shrugged. She snickered, her face full of laughter. Her eyes brighter as she sat cross legged beside me.

"What do you call an alligator in a vest?" She asked. she waggled her eyebrows at me making me lightly chuckle.

"I don't know." I responded. She giggled, rocking back and forth.

"An, investigator." She snickered again. I blinked. Her cheeks were flushed red, her breath smelling of Fae wine. Ugh, must have been on her breakfast tray. I sighed, shaking my head a little.

"Where do snowmen keep their money?" She giggled again, her eyes gazing her me. "You should take the armor off,"she frowned. "It looks clunky,"she complained. I sighed.

I slipped the armor over my head, my logsleeve shirt lifting slightly when I raised me arms. She gasped, leaning closer to me, whispering in my ear.

"Oh my gosh, you have abs," she giggled as she leaned back. I narrowed my eyes at her. How many glasses of wine did she drink?

"How many glasses of wine did you have?" I asked. She giggled again, holding up 3 fingers. I rose my eyebrows again. I was surprised she had not passed out, Fae wine was strong for humans, really strong.

She hiccups, leaning against my shoulder. Her heated forehead was pressed into my neck, making all my muscles tense in an effort not to pull her closer to me. She whispered into my ears.

"I have abs too," she snickered, breaking out into sudden laughter and snaking her arms around mine. Pulling me down onto the bed and setting my head in her lap. "Let me braid your hair." She said, I doubted it was a question.

I sighed, nodding a little. She ran her gentle fingers through my soft hair, my eyes fluttering closed as I enjoyed the feeling of her fingers dancing through brown waves on my head.

Before I knew it, I was asleep, the world of dream taking a hold of me.

Yuki pov:

I woke up with him beside me. He had his arms wrapped around my shoulder, her breath fanning my neck. I had a headache, regret for drinking all that wine sitting in my stomach.

I was comfortable though, warm. I wanted to snuggle further against his chest and sleep a little longer. Instead I stared at his face. He had a nicely toned jaw, shaved of any hair. His nose was straight, lips a cupid's bow like my own.

I found my self tracing his lips, a small smile lighting up my face. I wonder what it would be like to kiss him. I inched my face closer to his, gently pressing our lips together.

Don't wake up

Don't wake up

Sparks of delight trails along my lips, wanting me to kiss him more, but I pulled away, shrinking into his arms. Why did a feel this way. How could I like someone who killed all of my family?

His breath hitched for a moment, his eyes fluttering open as he stared down at me. He smiled softly as our eyes met. The urge to kiss him again increased, our faces leaning together.

Our lips touched, a soft dance created between us. The sparks from before increased, spreading my body, my stomach warming up. I deepened the kiss, my lips moving faster with his. His tongue grazed my bottom lip for a moment, his hand touching both of my cheeks.

We kissed until we needed breath, our forehead touching as we stared at each other. I did not regret it. His fingers brushed my swollen lips, a smile sliding onto his face.

"Your beautiful," my face flushed at his words, my head moving out of his hands. I yawned a little, still blushing furiously as I stood up. I heard him chuckle.

"Why did you come here again?" I asked. He nodded to himself, sitting up on the bed.

"I was supposed to talk to you about the world of the Fae." He waved his arms around making both of us chuckle. I scooted next to him.

"Well let's get started, shall we?"
