Yuki pov:

I waved as maya left my room with a smile. She had thought the room was cool, including the magic. I could tell she was not the type to hate things. She was kind and open to new things.

She had no family before the plague, so it was like moving to another foster home. She had never gotten attached to anybody, so she did not care that the people around her died. The people had hated her and used her anyways.

Like I said, she did not hate things, she only disliked them a little. That is what she told me at least. We read the book of jokes, which was laying on my bed. We laughed way to much at some of those jokes.

I shut the door, sighing as I walked back to my bed. My thoughts strayed to the king. I wanted to feel his lips on mine again. I sighed, I really had a problem. I jumped as the door was knocked on, my eyes blinking quickly.

"Come in!" I said, turning my whole body to face the door as it peeled open. Gabriel stood there, a small smile on his face as he stepped into my room and closing the door behind him. "Oh, hello!"

"Hello. I came to talk more about the Fae. I remembered some things I think you should know." He explained. I rose a brow, a smirk contorting my lips.

"Okay, let's sit on the bed," I turned and stepped onto the marble platform, sinking onto the bed. He sat beside me, our arms brushing. Tingles flew through me making me sigh.

"We are highly allergic to iron."he explained. I nodded, staring up at him. My eyes traced his lips as his spoke. "I also wanted to tell you more about your transformation." He added.

"Okay," he gave me a small smile.

"Tomorrow your ears should start growing in," he pulled back his hair, touching the tip of his pointed ear with a small smile.

"Can I touch it?" I asked. He thought about it for a moment, then nodded. I leaned closer to him, my fingers gently grazing his ear. "They look cool," I whispered. I leaned back, giving him a smile.

"U-umm, your height might change in 3 days, depending on your rank. In 4 days you might get parts of you beast and on the last day you will turn into your beast form. You will be able to control your beast form a little while after you turn and you can go back to a more human form, but with the ears," he once again touched his ear.

"Will is be painful?" I asked, biting my lip a little. He nodded, leaning a little more against me, as if to comfort me.

"Depending on how much power you have, it will be more painful." He explained. I nodded, staring up at him and into his brown eyes. We stared at each other for a moment before he timidly asked. "Can I kiss you?"

I nodded, his face coming closing to mine. I closed my eyes, pressing our lips together gently. He pulled back, giving me a small smile. His thumb rubbed my cheek softly, my cheeks pink.

"Your so cute when you blush," i rolled my eyes at his words, smacking his hand away.

"Whatever." He chuckled, pulling me into a hug. My arms wrapped around him automatically, tingles covering my body in every place we were touching. I pulled away, reluctantly, after a moment, standing up.

"Are you okay?" He asked. I sighed, turning around to face him. The hair on my neck rose suddenly, my eyes narrowing as I glanced around.

"Can you feel when someone watching you?" I asked him, taking a step away, then walking to the bookshelves. He shook his head slowly. "Well, someone is," I whispered.

"It is probably Damion," he said quickly.

"How do you even watch me if you are not in the room. I know it is magic," I quickly added. he chuckled, standing up himself.

"A mirror. A magic mirror," he winked. I sighed, shaking my head as i walked to the door.

"Okay Mr. Magician, time to leave. You have to check on your other guests too," his overexasperated sigh drew a laugh from my lips. He shook his head as he left, sending a wave and a small smile over his shoulder.

I shut the door. A magic mirror. My thoughts spun in my head, two of my fingers needing my temples. I don't know what I was more surprised about, the mirror or the fact that he had been watching me.

I pat my blushing cheeks, shaking out my hair with a huff. I was glad that whoever was watching before was not watching now. Watching people is creepy.
