Keep your friends close but, your enemies closer.

We all know that famous line, at 'yan ang mantra ng nag-iisang Campus Queen ng Flammarion High. 

Gosh! Sino kaya 'yun?

Duh? Of course! Sino pa ba?

Me! 

Ang nag-iisang Tyra Bangs, 18, Philippines! 

PAK! AWRA! 

I'm on my way sa bulletin board to check if na post na 'yung result ng audition namin. Well actually, hindi ko na dapat pang tingnan 'yung result. For sure naman na naka pasa ako and ako ang nakakuha ng lead role. I just want to check the result for my best friend. 

She did pretty well sa audition pero I still want to check if she made it. I hope she did, siya lang kasi 'yung nakaka-intindi sa'kin, eh. Siya lang 'yung naging toto sa'kin ever since.

Few minutes later narating ko na ang bulletin board. Inisa-isa ko agad  'yung mga naka dikit dun to see if the theater club posted the results na. Gotcha! Theater Club qualifiers and Casting.

As expected, I am on the list and I also got the lead role. It's not surprising anymore. I browse the names to check kung andun si Jane. Great! Her name is on the list. Naka pasa siya for theater club pero she didn't get any role sa play. 

Let's just look on the bright side. Pasok pa rin naman siya sa club. Now, I just need to tell her about this. I know na medyo madidismaya siya dahil dito pero wala, eh. I really don't know why pero maganda naman 'yung pinakita niya nung audition. Everyone was impressed. Pati ako. 

Sadyang medyo na inis lang ako kasi by that time feeling ko siya 'yung bida. Which is ako dapat. Pinanganak akong bida, eh. One and only leading lady. 

Habang nag lalakad ako papuntang special class ay nakita ko si Diane. It's been a while since she last attended our class. Wala naman pala siyang sakit or something. Nakita kong may dala dala siyang camera at may kasamang isang guy. Wait! Don't tell me that guy is her boyfriend? Gosh! That nosy guy from journalist club. I hate their club. 

I just ignored them, nag patuloy lang ako sa pag lalakad. I think she's planning to ditch our class again. Bahala siya. 

Malapit na ako sa room, nakita ko sina Uno, Nathan at Febbie na papasok na. Why is she hanging out with them? Those two are crazy. No wonder mahahawaan na rin siya kalaunan. Eeww.

Nakita rin ako ni Febbie na papalapit. She gave me a bright smile. Ok, that's creepy. I mean, I still need to act as if we're friends na. You know, I just need to figure out something and sabi ko nga. Keep your friends close but, your enemies closer.

Naunang pumasok sina Uno at Nathan. Febbie waited me until maka rating ako sa tapat ng door. 

"Hi," she greeted me.

"Hello," I  greeted her back and I showed a sweet fake smile. Then, pumasok na kami sa loob. 

Wala pa si sir. Buti na lang. More time for chika. 

Habang nag lalakad ako ay napatingin ako kay Carl na naka upo sa may pinaka dulong upuan sa last row. Why is he so cute. Like OMG! Hindi siya 'yung typical na guy na boyfriend material. Actually he's so masungit. Sobrang tahimik but, so smart! As in! Super cool!

Bago pa siya malusaw sa titig ko ay nag lakad na ako papunta sa harapan. Jane is already there. Naalala ko naman ang dapat kong sabihin sa kaniya. I hope na hindi siya ganun ma apektuhan. She's still my friend. Siya lang ang naniniwala sa'kin. I still care for her.
