(The picture wouldn't load and idk if that's just a me problem or a general problem so just in case I re-uploaded it)

Okay okay okay so

I thought of this in the middle of the night so there's a considerable chance I might be wrong,

But,

I don't think Hamilton had any flings wit girls while John was around?

Because there's Kitty, and from what I've gathered I think the flirting reached its peak (the wording is weird but I just woke up so bear with me) on early 1777, a few months before John joined the army. Then John arrived to camp and as far as I know we don't see Hamilton have another fling until late 1779 with Cordelia Lott, many months after John had left to SC, who he then bumped for another girl named Polly like the next month, and then the month after that he met Eliza.

Also while I was looking this up I found this post about "Hamilton's life as a bachelor" and they only talk about Kitty and the Wife Letter TM to John and like

I'm sorry but I just had to laugh out loud.

And then they basically go "and then Hamilton said this and this and then he said this" and then they proceed to pretty much copy and paste the rest of the letter from the part Alexander starts talking about wives to the end and just leave it like that.

Like, where's the commentary? The analysis??? WHAT'S YOUR FREAKING POINT???

I assume because of the header "Hamilton's Ideal Wife" that they're trying to say that Hamilton was legitimately asking John to get him a wife, but then they leave the part of the letter in which Hamilton says he doesn't actually want to get married and pretty much calls marriage a plague, so that's stupid.

But yeah, maybe this a just a coincidence, maybe it's not, but I found that kinda interesting.
