Anyway, imma talk about DEH, which I saw in a totally legal way not too long ago

And, I gotta say,,, I kinda expected more for all the hype around it..?
The songs are good but I expected more from the plot, specially the ending. There wasn't really any crash and burn (which I was hoping for) and I feel Evan was left off the hook way too easily for all the shit he did?? I mean the only thing he loses is Zoe and he even kind of gets her back eventually. And we don't get to know what happens to Jared or Alana (is that the girl's name??) or the Connor Project. There's just too many questions and I personally find the ending to be pretty unsatisfying.
Also I don't really like like half of the characters—
Jared is an asshole, so is Evan on a lesser degree i guess. Alana (I'm honestly not sure if that's the girl's name) they tried to make people sympathize with her cause oh she's forgotten too but that doesn't make her any less annoying for me
And Conor's family is okay I guess. Evan's mom is the best tho.
So yeah, maybe it's because everyone liked it so much that I had too high expectations and at the end I was kinda disappointed
"You Will Be Found" still makes me cry like a bitch tho.
And what's up with the ships???? The play is really not meant to have any ships besides Evan and Zoey and even them have me kinda meh. Cause Jared is an asshole, Treebros is high key shipping Evan with his anxiety so no thank you, and Alana is barely there.
So, uh, yeah those are my thoughts in DEH for everyone who wanted me to watch it. And I'm sorry I didn't like it as much as most people did :\
