Michael hated Tuesdays.

In his opinion, they were worse than Mondays. Mondays were lousy, yes, but Tuesdays were just so blech. First of all, he had gym of all classes - ew - which meant he didn't have music, which made it even worse. To add on to that, he had double French, which meant he had even less time in chemistry. This also meant less time with Ashton.

Talk about worst day of the week.

Michael liked to walk to school every once in a whole, but for some reason he picked a freaking Tuesday.

He easily regretted that decision.

When he was two minutes away, it began to f*ucking rain. And not just a light drizzle, oh no, it began to freaking pour. Michael's shoes, long sleeved Misfits shirt and jeans were soaked within seconds.

"Really?" He yelled up at the clouds. "Today? Do you not realize that it's a f*cking Tuesday?"

The sky rumbled, as if to say Yes. Michael groaned in frustration, kicking a fence and began walking again, muttering to himself, "I f*cking hate whoever invented Tuesdays."

The lilac-haired boy was drenched by the time he got inside the school. He was glad, however, that he got there early so not many of his peers were there to witness. He went immediately to his locker, pulling out all his books and hoping they weren't soaked.

He was wrong.

"Dammit!" He yelled, slamming his locker shut. He breathed in and out deeply, trying to calm down. He felt the stares of people around him and his head snapped up. "What? Was I talking to you?" He asked, looking around with a cold glare. Everyone looked away; no one liked an angry Clifford.

Michael opened his locker again, pulling out a few sheets of paper. There was some homework that he would be able to re-copy, though there was no hope for his French essay. He would have to either completely redo that or try to explain to his teacher what had happened.

"F*cking perfect," Michael muttered as he walked to the library, where hopefully he would be able to do his work in quiet.

"It all happens on a Tuesday."

"Hey, Mike," Luke said as he found Michael sitting by a computer. "What're you doing?"

Luke had never seen Michael in the library, he actually assumed that he didn't know where it was. Finding him there - on a day Michael hated, no less - was quite the surprise.

"Trying to redo my homework," Michael muttered angrily as he tried to find a concluding paragraph for his essay.

"I see," Luke said as he took a seat next to him, eyeing the multiple pieces of water stained paper beside him.

"Do you need something?" Michael snapped at Luke, annoyed with his friend's silence and stares. He didn't feel like dealing with anyone's crap today, especially not today.

"No, sorry, I was just thinking," Luke tried to cover up quickly, when in reality he had been wondering why Tuesdays made Michael so upset, seeing as he had never explained it.

"About what?" Michael asked as he chewed on his pencil eraser. An idea made its way into his brain and he quickly got to writing it down, proud that he had finished still with seven minutes before the first bell.

"Why you hate Tuesdays."

Michael stiffened in his new clothes - he had gotten his second pair from his gym locker - and stopped putting his homework in his now dry bag. "Why?" He asked, slowly zipping it and avoiding eye contact with his tall friend.

Luke shrugged innocently. "I dunno, I guess I just realized you never told us why."

Michael looked up at Luke, his green eyes boring into the other lad's blue ones. "Want to know why?" He asked with a bitter tone.

Luke shifted uncomfortably.

The older boy slung his backpack on his shoulder, beginning to walk out of the library. As he reached the entrance, he turned back and said to his friend,

"Because Tuesdays f*cking suck."
