"It feels like forever since we've been to school," Michael commented as him and Ashton walked in on Monday.

"I know right," Ashton agreed, moving closer towards the right side of the hall where his locker was. "Hey, do you have Gym today?" He asked as he took out his books.

"Uh, what is it, Day 4?" Michael asked and Ashton nodded, closing the locker and inserting the lock. "Then yeah."

"Okay." Ashton said, slightly disappointed as they began to walk towards Michael's locker. Him and Michael had different gym teachers, so they never saw each other during that period.

"Hey, um, Ash?" Michael asked nervously, taking his. He looked around, happy that he had been able to persuade Ashton into coming early, noticing few people lingering around, most headed towards the caf.

"Yeah?" Ashton asked, looking up from the little strips of photobooth paper that held pictures of Michael, Calum and Luke.

Ashton felt heat immediately rise to his cheeks when Michael leaned in and pressed a quick kiss to his lips. "Sorry," Michael apologized with a small smirk upon noticing Ashton's redness. "I couldn't resist. They were just there."

Ashton smiled a little, slinging an arm around Michael's shoulders as they began to walk again. He left a small peck on Michael's cheek, whispering in his ear, "It's good to be back."

"Back in black."

"Dear God Michael did you really just-"

"I did and I'm proud."

"You need help."

"So Cal," Ashton said as they stood in line for food. Michael and Luke had left without them, telling them to 'hurry their butts up food is time and time is sex', which made no sense at all.

Though sex would be nice.

"How's everything with Luke?" He finished, picking out an ice cream.

//an haha my school has ice cream.//

Calum shrugged, his eyes sad and tired. "I have no idea. He's still with Amanda."

"Where has she been, anyway?"

"Don't know, don't care." Calum said before both boys broke out into grins. They rushed to the table that contained their friends, stopping abruptly with their backs pressed to each other.

"What-" Michael began to say when in unison the two boys went:

"LONG HAIR DON'T CARE."

So loud, there was silence for a full second.

The entire hall was silenced, staring at the two seniors who had practically unveiled to the entire world that they were gay at heart.

(A little more than intended.)

Neither boys realized for a moment that everything had gone quiet. Finally, Calum noticed the lack of noise surrounding him and broke out of his trance, glaring at everyone else. "Excuse me but I'm not a camera, stop f*cking staring and take a picture, it'll last longer."

The chatter resumed automatically.

The two boys sat down opposite one another, Luke next to Calum (Calum slightly red) and Ashton next to Michael (Michael a little flustered when Ashton accidentally (" ") hit his way-hoo.)

"Sorry," Ashton apologized quickly, beginning to blush.

Through grit teeth Michael nodded, saying, "S'okay. It's always okay."
