like a pyramid.

When we arrived at the studio for the taping of the live show, I became really nervous. I turned to Milo, "Mi, what if I forget the lyrics? What if I make a fool of myself? I'm gonna end my career before it even starts." I rambled sitting on the couch in my dressing room.
"Lanie. You're going to be fine I'll be sitting in the front row you'll be okay. Just look at me when you're performing. You'll be okay I believe in you." He told me.
"Thanks Milo. I'm just really really worried. I don't want to ruin my career. I don't want to disappoint you." I trailed off looking at the ground.
"Lanie. You could never disappoint me. I am so proud of you for coming to Los Angeles to pursue your dreams." He said pulling me into a hug. I laid back on the couch in his arms and whispered,
"I wish we could stay like this forever."
"We honestly could but I think you should get out there I'll be sitting right in front of you." He said pointing to the door.
"Alright. Let's go. It's now or never." I said determined getting up and putting my purse next to my backpack. I walked out holding Milo's hand and right before we opened the door I hugged him one last time. "I love you Milo." I whispered to him.
"I love you Lanie. Now go get them tiger." He said to me. He left to go sit in the audience and I waited for my cue before I walked out and sat on the couches next to James.
"And here is the breakout sensation Lanie Adalair! Lanie! It's so nice to finally meet you!" James said to me.
"It's so nice to meet you too!" I told him while giving him a hug.
"Oh my goodness you are so sweet! How are you feeling?" He asked me.
"Well, I'm going to be quite honest with you James." I looked at him. "I'm quite nervous. Like look at my hands! They're literally shaking!" I said putting my hands out in front of me.
"Oh darling! You don't have to be nervous!" He told me as I giggled. "So this is your first live interview right?" He asked.
"Yes, that's correct. A huge milestone for me!" I said smiling.
"That's amazing. I am so honored to be apart of this milestone." He told me.
"You have no idea how happy I am to be here." I told him.
"Well, let's talk about your new album shall we?" He asked me smiling.
"Of course! What do you want to know about it?" I asked him.
"Well, it's relatively new and I've heard that you just picked out an album name and you'll be announcing it now hopefully?" He asked.
"Yes, I have. This project of mine has been under wraps for so long. I just graduated from the Berklee College of Music which was absolutely amazing. I have been working on the songs on this album for so long as well." I said turning to him. "I mean there are songs on this album that I have remastered that I originally composed like 3 years ago!"
"3 years? That's quite a while!" James said shocked.
"I know. But I wanted to make sure it was as perfect as it could be for my first view to the general public." I said.
"Well, we all saw your performance on Dancing With the Stars the other night, and let me just say, it was stellar. absolutely stellar." He said to me.
"Why thank you James! It means a lot coming from you!" I said.
"But, come on Lanie. I'm dying here. Can you give us the album title?" He asked. I turned to the audience and announced,
"The album has a story behind it. And the story behind this album has primarily been my experience through college and starting my career. This album will be called 'good luck charm'". As I said it, the audience began to clap. I looked directly at Milo as he patted his heart. I put my hand over my heart as I turned to look at James.
"Good luck charm. That's a very nice album title! You've got me hooked! How did you come up with that?" He asked me genuinely.
"Well, I've been through a lot in my life even though I'm only 21. I've been through rough patches and there were times when the dark covered more of my life than the light. But, I've always had a person that I relied on. He was always there for me even when we didn't talk. He was always my good luck charm. Always on my mind. I love him very much and he knows that." I told James whole I thought about how much Milo meant to me.
"Do we get to know who this mystery man is?" He asked.
"Now James, this is only my first interview! I can't spill all the beans can I? You have to invite me back for that!" I said joking.
"You're right. We'd love to have you back. We are now going to hear Lanie's new song called 'Pyramid'! Give it up for Lanie Adalair!" He said loudly as I walked over to the stage. I looked at Milo and listened for my cue and that's when I began to sing,
