I woke up in my bed still in my clothes from last night. I had a pounding headache. I walked into my bathroom and put on some comfy clothes and slid my unicorn slippers on. I walked by my bedside table and saw a glass of water and some aspirin so I took it along with my migraine medicine. I walked downstairs and saw that no one was there. I ate some breakfast and walked back to my bedroom.
"What the hell happened to me last night?" I looked at my messy bed realizing someone was with me last night. I only use one side of my bed. it shouldn't be messy unless someone else was with me. But I was drunk so who knows what happened. I tidied up my room and looked for my phone in the rubble. I found my purse and inside was my phone. Desperate to find any clues I tried turning it on.
"Great. It's dead. Perfect. Looks like I'll have to wait. I went onto my balcony and looked out onto the street. "Oh shit! I'll go to Alan hell know what happened hopefully!" I ran out of my house not caring that I was still in my unicorn slippers and without a phone. I knocked on the door and to my surprise, Alexis opened the door.
"Hi! Were you looking for Alan?" She asked.
"Yeah if possible. Sorry, I don't look the best but I had a really rough night. I just moved in across the street and was hoping to ask Alan about something." I said.
"Of course! I'm Alexis by the way! I was stopping by to talk to Alan as well. You're Lanie Adalair right?" She asked.
"Yeah, how do you know who I am?" I asked surprised.
"Wow, pretty and a sense of humor. Your song dropped this morning and I can't stop playing it!" She said. "See! I bought and downloaded it onto my phone already!" She said showing me her phone. "Well, I have to go run to a shoot but it would be cool to hang out! Just ask Alan for my number! See you later Lanie! ALAN YOU HAVE A GUEST!" She screamed before walking out the door leaving me alone.
"Alexis who did you let i-. Oh Lanie it's you. How are you feeling?" He asked concerned.
"I'm okay. I just wanted to come over to see if you could help piece things together for me. I don't remember anything from last night. When I woke up this morning, I was alone with a bottle of water, aspirin, and a bucket by bedside table. No note or anything. Did you take me home last night?" I asked confused.
"Alright, you're lucky I have a day off today. Come on sit I'll explain." He said as I followed him to the living room.

"Yo dude where were you last night? I come home and you're not even here." Mason said as I walked into our apartment.
"I ran into someone last night at that party and I ended up sleeping over." I explained.
"Ooh go Milo get it I see you." Mason said.
"Mason it's not like that. You know I'm not going to do that. Plus she was drunk." I said sternly.
"Well are you going to tell me who she is?" He asked.
"It was Lanie. She was at the party. She moved in the house across Alan which happened to be the house where we really began to bond and be friends." I explained.
"Shit, well is she okay?" He asked.
"I think so. I mean she was still asleep when I left."
"Did you leave a note?"
"No why would I?" I asked.
"Bro if she got so drunk she's still asleep at 1 in the afternoon she's most likely not to remember what happened last night. Text her at least."
"I will. I'm gonna go shower Mason." I told him as I walked into my room.

I walked into my house and sat down on the couch. I was stressed beyond belief. I told Alan that he had to choreograph to 'Boys Like You' for the show. I wasn't happy about it since I hadn't even released the song yet. This was going to be the public's first song they heard from me as a professional recording artist. I needed this to be perfect. I went up the stairs and into my room to take a shower because I was still in the same filth as I was last night. I could literally feel the breakouts beginning to sprout on me. I walked into my room and realized my balcony door was wide open. I shut the door and played it off as nothing, "maybe it was the wind" I said to myself. I walked into my bathroom in my robe and with my towel in hand when I saw on the counter a note and a small koala bear. I was confused since I thought I was the only one here. I opened the note and dropped my towel. The note read,
