Your POV

"I still can't believe that we got front row tickets to Shawn's concert! OMG! I can't wait to see him up close, it is gonna be amazing!" My bestfriend Lizzie started gushing like a crazed fan, which she was.

"Yeah, I can't wait! It's just a shame that we didn't get the meet and greet passes...but at least we got good tickets for the concert right?!" We were both walking to the stadium, where he would be performing, arriving earlier than we had planned.

"Oh look at that we're like 40 minutes early, well that gives us enough time to quickly grab some food and wait to get inside" Lizzie grabbed my hand and started walking faster towards the food carts, that were parked outside the stadium.

As we were waiting in line, Lizzie shrieked out of nowhere "ahhhh ohmigod!!!!!" She grabbed my arm violently and started shaking it out of excitement. "Y/N! Look!" She pointed to someone standing in line a few food carts over.

"Is that? no..." I couldn't believe my eyes.

"Yep, it The Shawn Mendes, quickly lets go ask for a picture before he leaves" without saying another word, Lizzie grabbed my arm, nearly pulling my arm out of it's socket in the process and started dragging me behind her, nearly crashing into other people. Mumbling a few apologies here and there we finally made it to where Shawn is.

"uh-um-hi-I'm Shawn and you're Lizzie uh I mean you're Shawn...wait what is my name again?" She was so nervous she couldn't even talk properly, the whole time while she was trying to talk I could see Shawn was trying to fight the smile that threatened to come onto his face.

Before my friend could embarrass herself even more I cut in, "Hi Shawn, this is my best friend Lizzie, she's just a bit nervous as you can see and she can't exactly get out the right words to say to you" He then turned to me and his eyes widened for a split second, which almost went unnoticed. Key word, almost.

"Hi, are you girls coming to see my show?" He looked back at Lizzie who was just staring at him like a gaping fish.

"Yeah we are, front row seats, which is pretty awesome" I answered his question casually, as if we were talking about the weather.

"Shawn, before you go I was wondering if we could get a photo with you?" I asked him noticing his manager walking towards us.

"Sure, anything for a fan" he smiled at me, and god I nearly fainted right then and there. His smile is seriously a gift sent from above.

I gave him my phone and he opened the camera app, Lizzie and I stood next to him, Lizzie standing in between the both of us "Alright, smile, 1..2..3" the camera clicked and he handed me back my phone. When he handed me my phone our fingers touched, and I swear as cliché as it sounds I felt a spark. As if he felt it too he looked up and into my e/c eyes, his eyes full of emotion.

"There you go, I hope you girls enjoy the show, it was nice meeting you" His manager came up to us and told Shawn that he had to leave to rehearse.

"Bye Shawn it was nice meeting you too!" Lizzie finally mustered up the courage to get in a few proper words, whilst I just stood there and smiled and waved. I could feel my cheeks heat up.

Gosh what's wrong with me?

He smiled at us before he left, "My gawd, how embarrassing was I, stupid Lizzie, I couldn't even talk properly! Why couldn't I be like you? Talking all smoothly, you weren't even nervous!" She honestly looked devastated.

"You know the trick is to think of them as just another ordinary person off the street, I mean I was still nervous, but when I think like that it makes talking to them easier...for me at least"
