Your POV

"And this here is Shawn". My friend y/f/n introduced me to her friend Shawn.

"Hi I'm y/n, nice to meet you" I stuck out my hand and smiled politely as he gladly shook it. "So how do you know y/f/n?" I asked him tilting my head slightly as I watched him speak.

"We went to high school together. What about you, how do you know y/f/n?" I told him how we are old family friends visiting for the summer so we're staying with her and her family.

I talked to Shawn for quite a while and it turns out we have quite a few mutual friends. "It was nice to meet you but I'm gonna go find y/f/n" I smiled and turned around walking off.

Not be rude or anything but this guy is kinda boring, I mean he is cute but that's about it. "Hi I heard you're y/f/n old family friend. I'm Cas, I love your dress!" I smiled brightly at Cas.

"Yep that's me, I'm y/n, and thank you! I love you hair, it's such a nice red colour!" She smiled at  me and introduced me to her other friends.

"Hi, omg I love your shoes where did you get them?" I asked one of her blonde friends, I think her name was Tiffany or Brittany or something like that.

"Oh I made them" she blushed and looked at her shoes.

"Really? Well I would love it if you would be able to make me a pair of shoes just like yours, they're amazing! You are so talented! I am so jealous" She nodded her head enthusiastically.

I spent the rest of the party talking and dancing with everyone, making lots of new friends. I think it's safe to say that I'm going to like it here.

Shawn's POV

"It was nice to meet you, but I should go find y/f/n" y/n turned around and left me standing by myself.

I watched her walk off and mingle with the other girls at the party. All of them literally worshipped the ground y/n walked on. All those compliments getting thrown around everywhere. As the party went on and on y/n just got more popular talking and dancing with everyone.

All the guys stared after her wishing they were with her and all the girls stared after her wishing they were her. What makes it worse is that she isn't mean to anyone she's just super nice, throwing compliments at everyone, and smiling. Constantly smiling. What is with this girl?

As the party was ending people started to leave, I looked over and saw y/n saying by to all the girls her and Cas were hanging out with the entire party. "Bye Cas! I'll see all you girls at Sarah's party on Saturday!" She waved them all off and shut the front door, turning around she stared at me, not a nice warm stare but like a hard stare.

I smiled and waved at her deciding to be friendly and nice to which she just nodded her head as if I'm not good enough for her to wave back and smile. She's only spoken to me once and already she thinks I'm not good enough for her. Ok wow, who made her the queen?

Still Shawn's POV

As I was talking to Jeff, one of my good friends, I saw Sarah, the birthday girl, walking up to me with someone following behind her.

"Hey Shawn how are you? I'm so glad you could make it" She gave me a big hug and introduced me to the person standing behind her.
