Baby Bump Dilemmas

Jessica's POV

"Ugh, none of my clothes fit me, I'm too fat!" I angrily chuck my pants on to the floor of my bedroom. I stomp my foot and dig through my wardrobe, I am determined to find something that fits me and doesn't make me look like a hippo.

"Um, Jessica honey? You ok?" Shawn's mum Karen asks me from the doorway.

I slump to the ground and rest my hands on my 6 month pregnant stomach. "Nothing fits me! I look hideous! I look like a giant hippo!" I rest my head against the wall, and let out a cry of frustration. Karen walks in and sits down next to me on the floor in my shared bedroom with Shawn.

"Oh honey, don't be ridiculous, you are beautiful inside and out. You're a pregnant woman, it's expected that your clothes don't fit you properly, how about Manny and I take you shopping for some new clothes that fit you, whilst we wait for Shawn to get back from the studio?" She asks me and tucks a strand of hair behind me ear.

"Ok, that sounds great! Thank you Karen, you're the best!" I hug her tightly before trying to get up, one hand on my back and the other on Karen using her as a lift.

*Le Time Skip*

I dump all of the shopping bags on the kitchen island. Today was successful, minus all the toilet breaks I had, it went well. I was able to buy 4 new pairs of pants, and 3 new pairs of tops, with the help of Karen it also went by faster. I felt a sharp pain against my bladder, oh god- I need to pee. 

Darn baby!

Kicking my bladder, all day long. Once I was finished in the bathroom, I heard the front door opening. "Jess, I'm home!" I walk towards Shawn, who is standing in the hallway taking off his coat.

"Hi baby, how was your day?" I hug Shawn and peck his lips.

"It was great! Your mum and dad took me to the shops so that I could buy some new clothes, because nothing fit me and the oversized watermelon under my shirt" Shawn chuckled and kissed my head.

"How was your day Shawn?" We walk hand in hand to the living room and sit down on the couch.

"It was good, we made a lot of progress with my new album. I have a feeling that it's going to be great" I kissed Shawn on the cheek, happy for my husbands success, and all he is achieving.

I rest my legs across his lap, and rest my head on his shoulder. Shawn rubs my back with one hand and rubs my belly with the other. "Mmm, that feels nice"

Shawn peppers my face with kisses, making me giggle. "I love you sweetheart. I love you so much. You're my sexy lady always and forever. You have the key to my heart." I laugh at his remark and kiss his lips lovingly. Our lips moving in sync with one another.

"I love you too my muffin man" Shawn grabs my hands and kisses each finger and knuckle, not missing any skin. 

"I can not wait for our baby to come, it is going to be a new chapter in our life. I love you little baby" Shawn kissed my belly, whilst I snuggled into his side.

"Me too, I can't wait for what this little fella has to offer. It's going to be hectic, but I think we will do an awesome job as parents" I rest my hand on my belly as I smile at Shawn. 

"I love you Jessica"

"I love you too Shawn"
