Your POV

Groaning for about the hundredth time today I walked to the bathroom sitting on the toilet.

Shit!

"Babe?" I called out and Shawn came up to the bathroom door.

"What's wrong y/n? Everything okay in there?" he asked through the door.

"Can you please go to the store for me? there are no more pads, I have run out" He hesitated for a second before saying sure.

"What kind babe the usual?" I nodded my head but then realised he can't see me through the door so I responded with a yes.

"Alright ill be back in a few, just sit tight. Do you have your phone with you?" well that's a weird question.

"Uhh no, why?"

"I'll go get it for you so you don't get bored while I'm gone and don't read all the products under the sink like I do when I forget to bring my phone into the bathroom" he left me sitting on the toilet laughing.

"What? You're such a weirdo" he came back and knocked on the door, "You can come in Shawn, it wouldn't be the first time you've seen me sitting on the toilet.

"Here you go I'll be right back" He gave me my phone whilst staring at the ceiling, not taking his eyes off the roof he left the bathroom.

A little while later he came back and handed me the pads, "Thanks babe, but why did you take so long?" I asked as I finished up in the bathroom.

"Well, it was easy to find the pads you wanted, but I also picked up a few other stuff, I picked up some heat pads, for your cramps because I know how bad those get for you. I also got you some chocolate and tampons just in case you wanted those too. Oh and on the way home I stopped by my mum's house and grabbed some of Aaliyah's movies, you know her rom com collection because I remember last time you were on your period all you wanted to watch was rom com movies" he handed me the bag with all the goodies.

"Aaawwwwwww! You are honestly the words greatest boyfriend! I love you so much babe, you are the bestest in the whole wide world" I started tearing up as I hugged the life out of Shawn.

"Babe what's wrong? Why are you crying? Is it the cramps?" he asked me full of concern.

"No it's not that, I'm just so grateful, you're just ugh, you're so perfect. Sorry it's just my hormones. Bloody period!" I laughed whilst wiping away my tears.

"Come one let go get you set up, I'll pop in the movie while you just lay down on the couch" True to his words he went and put the movie in while I sat on the couch wrapping myself in the blankets.

"Alright bring on Channing Tatum!" I looked at him incredulously.

"Since when did you like The Vow?" I asked him surprised by his enthusiasm.

"Well I don't actually like the movie, but I know how much you love it so I don't mind spending an hour and a half watching a romance movie with you" He kissed my cheek and started rubbing my back in circles.

"Mmmm that feels nice, Thanks Shawn you seriously don't have to do any of this" he shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't mind, plus I'm doing this because I love you and I want to help make you feel better" 

Aaaawwww. My Heart.

"You are literally a gift from god" he laughed as I said that and pressed play on the movie.

"Shhhh, bae is coming on the screen" he shushed me as Channing Tatum came into view on the tv.

Weirdo.

"I love you Shawn, thanks for all of this, I really appreciate it" I kissed his jaw since I couldn't reach his lips.

"No worries love, anything for my girl. I love you too" He kissed the top of my head and then turned his attention back to the tv.

I nestled into his warmth and enjoyed watching the movie and eating the chocolate he got me. If this is what he is going to be like every time I'm on my period, then it might not be so bad.
