"3 2 1!" We all counted down, waiting in anticipation, as Shawn's music video, for his new song Wonder, aired on the screen in the studio. I grinned over at Shawn, as he put his arm around me, squeezing my shoulder.

I looked up through my dark lashes and gazed over at Shawn from where he sat on the train looking out the window as the scenery blurred past. He got up from his seat as he began to sing. 

I wonder

If I'm being real

Do I speak my truth

Or do I filter how I feel.

I got up from my seat and joined all the other back up dancers. I closed my eyes as my body moved with the rhythm of the song. I raised my arms above my head, opening my eyes at the feel of Shawn's hands brushing both my arms, his body pressed into my back, his hands gently gliding up to my hands, twirling me and pulling me away from everyone else.

Right before I close my eyes

The only thing that's on my mind

Been dreaming that you feel it too

I wonder what it's like to be loved by you.

Shawn held my hand as we ran through the train, spinning me around the other back up dancers, as a contagious laughter fell from my lips, causing Shawn to smile. We climbed up the ladder, through a latch leading to the roof of the train. The crisp wind blew my hair in every direction, making me laugh. Shawn grabbed both my hands, pulling my body flush against his. I melted at his touch, closing my eyes as he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. I suddenly disappeared leaving Shawn alone of the roof of the train, his curly hair blowing in the wind.

And I wonder if some day you'll be by my side

And tell me that the world will end up alright.

I wonder.

The scene changed, to Shawn and I running through the woods, through tall trees to the edge of a cliff. The sunset behind us illuminated the sky in magnificent hues of orange and purple, creating a silhouette with our bodies, as we danced together on the cliff.

I wonder what it's like to be loved by you.

We continued to dance as he sang to me.

Yeah, I wonder what it's like,

The scene changed to Shawn dancing alone on the cliff, only in the rain. He moved through the puddles, flicking his wet hair off his forehead as he sang and looked over at the horizon.  The camera panned out, as if it were flying around Shawn, focusing on him singing, his face full of wonder and sorrow, as he tightly clenched his fists.

I wonder what it's like to be loved by you.

Yeah, I wonder what it's like to be loved by you.

I faintly appeared at his side again, dressed in a long, white flowing dress. I placed my hand on his right shoulder, his eyebrows creased as he turned his head and looked down at his shoulder.

Right before I close my eyes

The only thing that's on my mind

Been dreaming that you feel it too

I wonder what it's like to be loved by you.

The camera panned out, as I slowly disappeared, leaving Shawn on the edge of the cliff by himself, staring off into the horizon, his hand resting on his right shoulder, as it started to rain again. The film ended, the screen turning black with the credits flashing on the screen. Everyone clapped and cheered as we all turned to Shawn to congratulate him on another successful music video. I turned in my seat and kissed Shawn's cheek.

"That was amazing! It gave me goosebumps" I said sheepishly, as Shawn's cheeks tinted pink at the compliment.

My boyfriend gave me a peck on the lips and then held my hands, "That music video would be nothing without you, you are what made it emotional. You were the little surprise" 

It was now my turn to blush as Shawn laughed and pulled me in for a hug. "Hey Shawn?"

"Hmm?" He looked down at me, as he smiled lovingly at me.

"No need to wonder, because when we get home, I can show you what it's like to be loved by me" I said as a smirk grew its way onto my face.

Shawn threw his head back and burst into laughter, clutching his chest as he shook his head, "How long have you been waiting to use the line?"

"Ever since you first wrote that line" I said and laughed as he shook his head in mock embarrassment.

"Gosh I love you y/n" Shawn tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear, his fingers softly grazing my cheek.

"I love you too Shawn" I whispered as I closed the distance between us.
