Everything was just perfect.

Shawn pulled away and dragged me back to the mountain of cushions and pillows. He lay down and opened his arms for me. Joining him I cuddled into his side, basking in the warmth of his presence.

"By the way, when did you fall in love with me?" Shawn peered down at me, since my head was resting on his chest.

"Well there isn't a specific moment like you, I guess I just fell in love with you a long time ago. It's just everything you've done for me over the years I just fell in love with that and how perfect you are" he shook his head smiling.

'I'm not perfect you of all people should know that"

"Yeah, but you're perfect for me" his cheeks turned pink as I said that last part.

"Oh wait I remember now, you know when we were five and I dropped my ice cream at the park?" he nodded his head mumbling yeah wondering where this was going.

"Well you gave me your ice cream because I was upset that I dropped mine, you said I could have yours even though you knew you wouldn't get a new one. That was when I fell in love with you, because you know what they say 'food is the way to a girls heart'" I started laughing as he playfully shoved me.

"You're so weird and stupid" I gasped putting my hand over my heart.

"Excuse me you're the one that fell in love with me when I punched someone in the face" I stated as a matter of factly. 

he laughed, "well to be fair you were my hero, saving me and all"

"Well you're my hero too! saving me from dying of hunger" he rolled his eyes and said that i'm so dramatic.

"But you love me anyways" he smiled and leaned in closer.

"That I do" he leaned in all the way until our lips finally met. Sighing into the kiss I reached up and grabbed the back of his neck pulling him impossibly closer. Shawn was now hovering over me when we broke the kiss.

"Be my girlfriend?" I looked at him and blinked my eyes.

"What?" I couldn't believe my ears.

"Y/f/n y/l/n will you do me the honour and be my girlfriend?" he asked me.

"Yes! I would love to" I pulled him back down for another kiss, this one melting my heart.

Pulling apart he looked at my face, "What are you doing?" he smiled at me and hummed.

"Nothing, just admiring how beautiful my girlfriend is" he smiled at me lovingly, his eyes shone with adoration and love.

"Aww stop it, you're making me blush" I said as I hit Shawn's chest playfully.

"You're so cute when you blush" this just made me blush even harder.

"Come on boyfriend lets finish this movie marathon" I snuggled against his side and rested my hand on his stomach.

Shawn put his arm around my waist and pressed play, he kissed the top of my head and whispered "I love you y/n"

I just closed my eyes and smiled, "I love you too Shawn"
