A/N - Ok, so I just came across all these other unreleased songs of his and I'm shook. Has anyone else ever heard this song before??? I'm so confused because this song is not a part of any of his albums. Oh well, I'm just glad I came across it. It's honestly a beautiful song, I mean not the meaning behind it that's sad, but  his voice is so soothing and ugghhhh he sounds like an angel.  I feel like a fake fan, because I had never heard any of these songs before. But, now I know what I'm going to be doing for the next two hours, listening to these songs on repeat. Anyways sorry for my little rant. Happy Reading :)

*Your POV*

I stood in the corner of the room, my eyes on Shawn, as he began strumming his guitar and humming into the microphone. 

 "Please don't tell me that he's just a friend

It's when you touch me and act all innocent

Memories started replaying in my head over and over again like a movie. Memories of Shawn and I before...before I messed up.

"And you can try to make it right

But it's not so black and white"

I'm filled with regret and sadness as these memories and old feelings resurface.

"And I have been trying my best to forgive you

But you messed it up, one too many times

And when you come to me, with tears in your eyes

I can't feel bad this time

FLASHBACK

*2 months ago*

His lips meet mine for the hundredth time, as he presses me up against the wall. His hands caressing my face, thumbs softly rubbing circles on my cheeks. I wrap my arms around his neck as he diverts his kisses and leaves a trail down my neck and across my collar bone.

"And was it worth it the night you spent with him?"

I softly moan out his name as he finds my sweet spot, right below my ear. I gently tug his soft fluffy hair as I pull his head back up, lips reconnecting with mine in a passionate and heated kiss. 

"Y/N?..." I break away from the kiss panting, as I freeze and turn my head to where that voice came from. That voice I know all too well. 

"And I've been trying my best to forgive you"

I look up and recover from my euphoric haze as I see a broken hearted Shawn standing a few feet away from me. 

"Shawn...i-it's not what it looks like..." I pushed myself off the wall and walked to Shawn.

*Shawn's POV*

"Shawn...i-it's not what it looks like..." y/n pushed herself off the wall as she walked towards me.

"It's not what it looks like? It looks like to me that my girlfriend of three years was making out with her so called "friend" for the second time. I gave you another chance because I loved you. Because I didn't want you to just throw away what we had. We had something so special." 

"It doesn't make it any better 

When you say "it's not my fault"

"Loved? Had? Sh-shawn...what are you saying? You don't love me anymore?" I looked at y/n incredilously.

"I...I'm saying we're done. For good. I gave you another chance and you threw it all away. I did love you. I tried my best to forgive you. But you messed it up, one too many times." I turned my back to the girl that I loved for two years. The girl I gave my heart to.

*Your POV*

I watched Shawn's retreating back, as he turned the corner walking away from me. From us. 

But...he's right.

I messed up one too many times...

END OF FLASHBACK

I look up at Shawn to see his face full of pain and hurt, his voice oozing with sadness, as he continued to sing his heart out. 

"I hope you're satisfied"
