Lisa's POV
The car ride to Shawn's parents house was silent, but not one of those awkward silences it was a nice comfortable silence, where you could just enjoy each other's presence with out having to say anything. Today we were going over to Shawn's parents house to announce our pregnancy, my parents were also going to be there as well, because why not tell everyone all together.
"Alright we are here, I'll just park in the drive way and then we can head on up" Shawn said as he drove into their driveway and parked his black jeep.
Ringing the doorbell I consciously smoothed out the non existent wrinkles on my white dress, nervously looking at Shawn he seemed to catch on as he spoke trying to calm me down, "hey Lisa, everything is going to be alright ok? Everyone is going to be so happy you have nothing to worry about" He placed a kiss on the crown of my head.
The front door opened to reveal Shawn's mother Karen, she had an apron on that said 'kiss the cook', she smiled warmly at us and welcomed us into her beautiful two story home. "Hi! you guys finally made it! Oh my gosh it is so nice to see you again, I missed you so much! How was your honey moon? I want to know everything...well not everything of course maybe just the outdoor activities you guys did" she wiggled her eyebrows at us as she stepped aside letting us in.
I laughed and hugged her, "It's nice to see you again Karen", she closed the front door as we walked down the hallway and greeted everyone else.
"Ok guys dinner is ready, please have a seat at the table, you guys came just in time" We all sat at the table, my mum and dad sat across from me and Shawn, who sat on my left, Shawn's mum sat on my right at the head of the table and his dad sat opposite to Karen.
"Dig in" everyone served themselves a bit of everything enjoying the food and making small talk here and there.
"Hey babe, I think I forgot to mention this before we left the house, but you look extraordinarily beautiful today, not that you don't always look beautiful" He kissed my cheek making me blush, which didn't go unnoticed by Karen.
All throughout dinner Shawn and I kept sweet talking each other, constantly reminding me that he loves me and thinks I look absolutely stunning.
"Gosh, my wife sure is gorgeous" he kept on repeating to himself, Shawn placed his hand on my thigh in a loving manner, yet this simple gesture of affection made me blush, hard.
"You two are just adorable, gosh I remember being a newlywed, ahh those were the days right Manuel?" Karen turned to her husband who agreed with her.
"I know aren't they so cute! Oh so what was the knews you guys had to tell us? We are dying to know" My mum placed her fork down on her plate and thanks to that everyone's attention was now on us, my dad was surprisingly interested as well.
"Yea pumpkin, what was this surprise you have for us?" he asked curiously.
"Umm, well Shawn and I...well, we are pregnant" it was only quiet for half a millisecond before everyone started jumping with joy, saying congratulations.
"Oh my god! My baby's having a baby! I'm going to be a grandma!" My mum jumped up with joy and came over to my side of the table and gave me a huge hug.
"Congratulations pumpkin! Same to you Shawn, this is a great surprise" my father smiled and clapped his hands together.
"My boy, well done! You're now officially a man" Manuel patted his son and the back and Shawn just rolled his eyes playfully.
"Oh my gosh what are you going to name your child?" Karen looked at us and we actually hadn't thought about that yet.
"Um, well we haven't thought about that yet" She smiled at us and told us that she had a book full of baby names if we wanted it.
"Thanks Karen I think I'll take you up on that offer" we spent the rest of the night celebrating and hugging one another.
Shawn grabbed my hand and dragged me to the kitchen, "What is it Sha-" I was immediately cut off by the warmth of Shawn's lips on mine.
He grabbed my face with both his hands and it only took me a second to recover before I melted into his touch, melting into the kiss. It doesn't matter how many times Shawn kisses me, but each time will feel like our first, pure bliss and ecstasy.
Pulling a part all too quickly I looked at him, "What was that for? Not that I'm complaining or anything" I looked up at Shawn.
"What can't I just share a kiss with my beautiful wife and the mother of my unborn child? I love you so much Lisa" He bent down and kissed me again, this one lasting a bit longer than the previous one.
Out of no where slow music started to fill up the entire house, Shawn bowed down in front of me with his hand outstretched "May I have this dance ma' lady?" I gladly accepted and took Shawn hand.
We started off by just swaying side to side in the kitchen and then he spun me and dipped me, "Woah, where did that come from? I didn't know you could do that" I asked him surprised.
"Oh baby, there are a lot of things you don't know about me" he winked at me lifting me up and pulling me in close to his chest, flushed up against his body.

"I love you Lisa" Shawn whispered in my ear, kissing the top of my head.
I rested my head on his shoulder, "I love you too Shawn" as the song came to an end Shawn and I just stood in the kitchen swaying side to side in each other's arms for what felt like forever.
