Derek shakes his head. The lady is acting too soft with the newbie.

Lady Emmeline looks frightened at first. Now she looks calmer.

"Yes. These men love to brag about their power in the government. Unfortunately their rightful wives won't listen to them."

Emmie has been here for three months. And finally she's getting used to her job to humor politicians. Not that hard to flatter them.

Most of them only love to brag about their latest achievements. Listening to their complaints about idiotic political rivals. Letting them stealing kisses on her hand. She never let them kiss her lips. And when things got too far, Derek or other footmen would bail her out.

Tonight she's supposed to entertain a young politician. Marquee Young. A new rising star in the parliament. He joined only recently. Most of the politicians think he's a threat with his handsome looks and silver tongue.
