"Hey, Connor. You looked so tired." Hank noticed the android has been slowing down for the past few days. And for some reason he's paler that usual. "Maybe you should get some rest."
"No, I can still handle this." Connor replied and came back to doing his paperwork in the dining table. He would bring his work at home and finish it all night till morning.
The lieutenant nodded and stared at the android for awhile. He suddenly took his files and stacked them in his hands.
"Just let me finish it, Hank!" the RK800 looked up on the old man and tried taking back his work. "It was almost half done!"
"Nope, I'm not giving this back to you if you will not rest your eyes." Hank placed them in the living room let Sumo sniff on them. "F*cking sleep, look at you! You're so pale!"
"Androids don't sleep, lieutenant." Connor answered. "And I'm not pale.. This is my natural skin color."
"So I'm color blind now?" Hank frowned. "You're not getting them back if you won't sleep. Stop with that 'androids don't sleep' bullsh*t."
"But Hank-"
"Nope."
"Fine." the android surrendered and stood up from the chair. And he went to the corner of the room and stood there like a machine.
"Dammit! Not there!" the lieutenant stared at him. "You have a f*cking room and a bed!"
"Oh right.. Sorry, Hank." Connor would actually forget that he's now considered a human being and no longer a machine taking orders.
"It's uncomfortable to see you just standing there like a f*cking fish!" Hank exclaimed.
"I'm used to it, sorry." he replied.
"Whatever, get some rest." the old man added. "And as promised, I'll give you back your paperwork."
"Yeah, sure.. " the android suddenly yawned. He went straight to his room and Sumo eventually followed him.
Minutes later Hank noticed that Connor's room is half open and he took a peak. He just saw a sleeping android hugging the big Saint Bernard and soft snores were actually heard.
"Androids don't sleep.." Hank mumbled to himself and chuckled. He took a photo of the android and quietly closed the door.
