It was all over the headlines, after a tragic car accident that killed an eight year old boy, the engineer or also the father suddenly left without a trace.

No one knew why, but with theories crossing all over internet. They thought the man couldn't take it then sadly committed suicide. Or some said that it was never an accident, it was intentional to get some insurance money from the poor kid. But without the media's knowing, he seclude himself from the world. People around him started to talk behind his back, they thought everything that happened that night was intentional.

Which is not true, the car skidded on a sheet of ice and his car was hit and rolled over. Connor Anderson was rushed to the hospital and needed an emergency surgery. No available surgeon was able to do it. Of course, you all knew what happened next.

After Hank moved to another state, he started to work on robotics. Which it's his expertise after all. Then the man decided to open up a company which was later on named Cyberlife.

It was a multimillionaire brand. Anderson became famous again as years went by. Newer models of androids started to sprung up. And investors started investing.

Everyone thought he's already happy, the money and fame his experiencing right now. But as one's said 'Money can't buy happinesses.' And that's a fact. After the death of his son, it was never the same.

A few months back, Hank was starting to make projects on his own. Without the company's knowing, he's starting to make another model. But this time, its something or someone special.

"State model name and serial number." Hank commanded the newly woken android.

"RK800, serial code 313-289-317." The machine replied. The android was a male brunette, with chocolate brown eyes. His hair was slightly curled. "Will you register a name?"

"Connor." Hank stated with a soft smile in his face.

"Name registered, I shall be called as 'Connor'." It scanned the laboratory. "Anything else, Mr. Anderson?"

"Run and install program RA9." The old man looked over the holographic screen on his left to check if the android was perfectly running.

Connor started to install the program. Once the thing is already in its system, it felt something.

He scanned the room once more. Making him blink twice and looked at Hank. "Where am I?"

"You're in my lab remember?" Anderson chuckled.

"The accident.. Dad, how?" Connor was confused now. He looked at his naked android body and realized something.

"Life was never the same without you, Connor." He added with a sad smile. "When you died, every memory from your brain was transfered into a chip. A few years of perfecting robotics, I thought this is the time to do it."

Connor let out a deep sigh even if he is a machine, the male still has the mannerisms of a human being. Because that's how he was programmed.

"What now? Release me to the public?" The brunette asked. "Dad, I'm not a experiment. But now you made me one."

"That's not what I meant-"

"Oh, shut up. Look at me. Is this even normal?" The android snapped. "What will I do now? Stand and wait for your commands?!"

"Connor, you have free will. That's what makes you different from the others.'' Hank replied.

"Free will my ass." Connor frowned and started to walk away.

"Where are you going?"

"You said I have free will right?" The brunette stormed out of the laboratory leaving the old man alone.
