"Hey, you're late." The old police lieutenant frowned as he noticed the android slowly sitting down his desk.

The RK800 didn't reply as he finally sat down and looked at the files in his desk.

"Am I a ghost now?" Hank frowned and snapped his fingers to get Connor's attention which he successfully did.

"Sorry, I didn't noticed you were there." The brunette glanced at the old man.

"You running late, and awfully quiet. Are you okay?" Hank asked with concern.

"I'm fine.. I'm just running on low power." Connor lied. The android's LED is spinning from blue to yellow.

"You sure?" The lieutenant titled his head.

"Yes." The RK800 lied once more.

The old police officer noticed Connor's sudden change of personality. Often, the android would socialize a lot, even if it turns out awkward. At least he was trying.

But the past few days the former deviant hunter was quiet the whole time. People greet him while he doesn't greet back. Some will also notice how he goes to work very late and his performance was not the same as before.

The android stood up and some of his belongings with him.

"Hey, where ya goin'?" Hank asked.

"I have a patrol shift with Detective Reed today till later." Connor replied. "I'll see you in the night shift."

"Oh yeah, and Connor?"

"Yes, lieutenant?"

"How's between you and Reed? I know you two don't really get along with each other from the start.." Hank asked with a tint of concern in his face.

"We are working well, professionally speaking." The RK800 said a lie another time.

"You said so, but if he starts to insult you. Tell me immediately, got it?"

Connor nodded and left quickly as he noticed the detective was glaring intently at him.

"What the hell took you so long, tin can?" Gavin raised an eyebrow to the RK800.

"I finished some paperwork." The android answered.

"Paperwork." The detective scoffed.

***

"I never liked you from the beginning I saw your plastic face." Gavin growled as he pushes the android backwards against the wall. Connor's LED spun yellow to red.

The patrol just ended a while ago. And the detective was on a rage mode since earlier. And getting partnered with the person he hated the most adds it.
Every time their job finishes, it always ends with this.

The human detective pushes around or bullies the RK800 out of anger, stress and hatred.

Connor was backed to the wall looking down. He haven't said a word since Reed pulled him down to the evidence room.

It has been an hour or so since Connor's field work ended. It made the old police lieutenant worried. This kind of habit has been happening since Gavin and the android...

"That son of a b*tch." Hank muttered as he starts to find the two.

"Put.. me down, please.." Connor begged Gavin as he shoved the android to the wall.

"Oh stop pretending you're hurt, you little shit." The detective growled as he pushes him again and pinned the android to the ground.

"Please stop.." Connor said in fear as his LED continues to blink crimson.

"Why so scared?" Reed chuckled darkly as he towers down the male Android.

Seconds later, the door suddenly opened. "Get the f*ck away from him!" The lieutenant's angry voice rang throughout the evidence room.

Gavin turned around. He's dead for sure. Connor suddenly crawls away from the detective and curled up in the corner, shaking and whimpering in fear.

"Lieutenant, I can explai-" Hank suddenly punches him right to the face.

"You bastard!" The old man punched him angrily once more then turns to the shaking RK800.

Connor was flinching away from the police lieutenant. He also noticed that some buttons in his dress shirt was open.

Hank took off his jacket and draped it to the android, it might help him calm down a bit. Which it successfully worked.
